Hope Easily Leads to Success Now

Brethren, Hope is like fuel. It provides the ‘get up and go’ needed to get where we need to go and to reach what we are trying to reach. When the world says give up hope whispers…try one more time. That ‘try one more time’ attitude helps us deal with challenges with a mindset of succeeding or overcoming. And, when we set our mind to do something, our chances of succeeding, of actually accomplishing our goal (s) are increased. Once you choose HOPE anything is possible. Don’t lose hope. After all, when the sun goes down, the stars come out.

HOPE NEVER FAILS

The hardships we encounter often prepare us for an extraordinary destiny. Remember, with Hope, which is a very powerful tool. It can bring the weak back to strength. It can bring the sick back to health. It can turn failure into success. Hope helps us when we are dealing with changes which can throw us off track from our comfort zone. It is the expectation of something beneficial in the future.

Hope helps us to keep going when times are hard. It lets us know that no matter how bad things seem at the moment, no matter how dark, there will be something better and brighter around the corner. Hope is like the sun, which, as we journey toward it, casts the shadow of our burden behind us.

Brethren, as we set our goals, we should make sure that the goals are something we want and not what others want for us. Our goals should be ones that challenge us and make us to stay focused. If our goals are long-range, we should break them down into steps. We should consider the challenges and obstacles that we might face and come up with a plan to work through those. Ask for help from other brethren when needed (Ecclesiastes 4:9–12). And, if different or new skills are needed to help us reach our goals, learn those skills.

According to Proverbs 18:21” What you say can preserve life or destroy it; so, you must accept the consequences of your words”. If we maintain hope when pursuing our goals and in our most challenging situations, we may be successful in the end. So, we should adopt a David like mind-set that obstacles are there to challenge you. We should rise to the challenge and put our mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:16) in us to work on overcoming the obstacle. If need be, change the way you look at something. So, let’s learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. In doing so, our attitude and our results will also change.

Pastor Nathaniel.
