Brethren, according to 1 Samuel 16.7 “The Lord doesn’t see things the way you see them. People judge by outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart”. So, let’s stop labelling people just because they’re not like us. We should also avoid judging them just because they sin differently than us. Nowadays, it is almost impossible to not experience the feeling of being judged by everyone. Especially in the era, we live in. We are constantly exposed to the examples of how we should look like or how we should behave.
People may not always see the treasure God has placed within you, so don’t place too much value on the opinion of others. Trust that God knows what’s in you, and He will choose you even when others overlook you. So, we should never judge a heart by its scars Remember brethren, nobody has it easy, everybody has issues. You never know what people are going through. So, pause before you start judging, criticizing, or mocking others. everybody is fighting their own unique war. How about you get to know the person before you judge him. Afterall Good judgement comes from experience and often experience comes from bad judgement.
Just imagine from morning until evening, we are exposed, to some kind of digital input ranging from the social media on our phones, the news on the TV or on the billboards in the streets. You can fall into that judgment trap of modern society very easily. We should never judge the lives of others because each person knows only their own pain. It’s one thing to feel that you are on the right path, but it’s another to think that yours is the only path (e.g.my church, my pastor etc). So, don’t judge someone’s choices without understanding their reasons for the choice.
Everything we judge in others is something within ourselves we don’t want to face. Matthew 7:3–5. No wonder When someone judges you, it is actually about them and their insecurities, limitations, and needs. According to “Roman 2:1 So every single one of you who judge others is without any excuse. You condemn yourself when you judge another person because the one who is judging is doing the same things”.
The Bible states that there are two ways to judge others. One way is to judge their motives, which is sinful. The other way is to judge their actions, which is right to do. Sadly, people often mistake what the Bible says about judging others by misapplying one of these truths.
Bible states in 1 Corinthians 4:4-5, “It is the Lord who judges me. Therefore, do not pronounce judgment before the time, before the Lord comes, who will bring to light the things now hidden in darkness and will disclose the purposes of the heart. “So, judge no one just improves yourself. Remember Matthew 7:1-2 “Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. For you will be treated as you treat others. The standard you use in judging is the standard by which you will be judged by God.
In closing I know to judge others is human. But brethren keeping your opinion about others to yourself is having class. According to 1 Corinthians 5:12–13 “It isn’t my responsibility to judge outsiders, but it certainly is your responsibility to judge those inside the church who are sinning. God will judge those on the outside; but as the Scriptures say, “You must remove the evil person from among you”. So, ONLY judge a person not by the colour of his skin, tribe, race, nationality, education, class, but by the content of his character.
