What Is God’s Fire?
In the Book of Deuteronomy 4:24 we see that God from the beginning of time used to identify himself with fire, in one form or the other. For instance, he expected his sacrifice to be roasted in the fire. He expected the altar to have fire on it always (Leviticus 6:12). God promised to use the fire to destroy his enemies, in the form of Hellfire. He revealed himself through fire to Moses. So you can see that fire is important to our God and Not strange fire!
What Is Strange Fire?
An unholy fire or a strange fire is an unauthorized, or foreign fire that doesn’t come from God himself. It is an imitation of the real thing and it’s directed at the worship of the devil.
In the Book of Leviticus 10:1-2, Nadab and Abihu came along and offered incense with “strange fire.” God not only rejected their sacrifice; He found it so offensive that He consumed the two men with his Holy fire.
We see that God reminded his priests and workers in the Book of Exodus 30:9 “You shall offer no unholy incense thereon,”. God was saying that “Be careful; do not offer the wrong kind of incense.” So when these priests offered another fire “strange fire” it was a violation of the direct command of God. They were doing something against which God himself had forewarned them. God never visits with judgment anybody who is struggling in ignorance to try to find him, even though they do it the wrong way.
In most cases out of ignorance, we serve the Lord in ways which are wrong and God might forgive and even correct us but after we know the truth, and we still repeat the same mistake, it might lead to a form of punishment in one way or the other. Not because God hates us but just because he wants to correct us and eventually win us back to himself.
Brethren don’t add or subtract when it comes to the matters of the true living God according to Deuteronomy 4:2 Do it the right way or it will amount to disobedience. Remember King Saul when he was sent to destroy the Amalekites but he disobeyed God and God destroyed his Kingdom.
The altar of incense represents our prayers and our praise and our worship going up to God. And, if He is not pleased with what we offer, woe unto us. We are to approach God with fear and trembling! Today there’s too many people that take God lightly and think they can do anything they want and still be in His good grace but don’t be fooled.
All these things and many other are part of the strange fire God hates:
You can’t come to church Sunday morning if you just spent Saturday night at the club drinking and getting high, thinking that God will be pleased
You can’t offer up pure praise and worship if you just spent the last 15 minutes gossiping in the parking lot
You can’t expect God to honor your praise or your worship if your doing it for a show!
Don’t Water down the gospel for the sake of fitting in
Don’t listen to most of these modern-day false preachers who want to give you nothing but just preach only motivational speech on how you can force God to bless you even when you are on the wrong.
We as priests are to preach and witness to the lost the pure message of salvation: Jesus’ death, burial and resurrection and nothing more!
saints, remember, God is a jealous God and He will have no other Gods before Him. If we are so consumed with any other thing, be it work, television, sports and even church activities, that we don’t have time to focus our attention solely on Him each day, God is telling us that we are wrong.
Put off all other strange fires competing with God’s fire and be on fire for the true God.
Let’s pray
1. My Father! My Father! build a wall of fire around me and my family as a form of protection against any strange fire, and let the Fire of God, be my guide in every area of my life, in Jesus name.
2. Let the fire of the Holy Ghost consume every evil altar where the strange fire burns, to strengthen the generational gods and idols of my father’s family to ensure that our family line will never succeed (Mention your ancestral family names), in Jesus name
3. My prayer altar shall not become an altar of strange fires, O Lord, keep my altar burning with God’s fire 24 hours a day, in Jesus name
4. Let the fire of the Holy Ghost melt away every negative anointing as a result of any strange fire working against my life, I command every garment of a hindrance to my breakthrough to be burnt to ashes, in Jesus name
5. O God of Elijah, release fire upon the evil altars of my enemies, so as to destroy every weapon of destruction fashioned against me and my family; in Jesus name
6. By the name of Jesus, I curse every evil spirit enforcing evil altars using strange fires in my life, I command you to release me, in Jesus name.
7. Let everything that has been transferred into my life through the strange fires, lose its hold right now, in Jesus name
8. Let the fire of God fall on every spirit of death and hell fashioned against my life, let any evil altar burning this strange fire that has accepted any evil sacrifice to destroy me, burn to ashes, in Jesus name.
9. My Father! My Father! Send your warring angels to destroy any satanic altar of darkness where they are burning strange fires over my money, pictures, clothes, and other personal items, in Jesus name
10. Let the fire of the Holy Ghost burn to ashes every environmental evil altars that are burning strange fires aiming to destroy my success and the works of my hand, in Jesus name
11. Any rituals done against me at any evil altars using strange fires by any unfriendly friend, the fire of God expose them with your fire, in Jesus name
12. Let every altar of witchcraft speaking failure and impossiblity to my dreams, catch fire and burn to ashes, in Jesus name
13. I withdraw by fire everything programmed into the heavenlies against me by human altars, in Jesus name
14. Let the Holy ghost fire, destroy every satanic priest making incantations over my destiny at the evil altars using strange fires, the blood of animals and humans to enforce disgrace and sickness into my life, in Jesus name.
15. I set ablaze by the fire of Holy ghost, every demonic instrument and devices of the evil priest against me, in Jesus name
16. I set ablaze by Holy ghost fire, every evil altar burning strange fires to expand my problems at the close of my breakthroughs, in Jesus name
17. I destroy by the fire of the Holy Ghost every evil altar burning strange fires at bus stops, under the trees, on junctions, on people’s mouths, to harm me and my family in the name of Jesus
18. I destroy by the fire of the Holy Ghost all evil altars burning strange fires to ensure that I have financial problems, and bad marriage fire, sicknesses and many other problems, in the name of Jesus.
19. O Lord put off the strange fire burning my destiny at the evil altar of darkness, let those who use strange charms and fires to harm me, be destroyed by Holy Ghost fire, in Jesus name
20. Every satanic altar that has vowed to pursue me to the grave, catch fire, in the name of Jesus.
O LORD, I have suffered enough by these strange altars, deliver me by your mercy , in Jesus name
