Children: Who Is Your Master God Or Devil Now

Listen to this article

Children Do You Know Who Is Your Master?

The reason I am asking you this is because one can only have one master at a time that is what the Bible says in: Matthew 6:24, “You can’t serve two masters either love one and hate the other.” So, who do you think is your master Jesus or the devil? We will explore that topic today.

Isaiah 1:3, Cattle know who owns them, and donkeys know where their master feeds them. But that is more than my people Israel know. They don’t understand at all. ” Based on this verse we see that animals seem to know their masters and they obey them but what about us humans?

Check the acts and behaviour of these animals, and it will prove to you that they know their masters, For instance, a dog wags its tail and lies on the ground to show submission and that is an animal, as well as the slaves in the olden days, they used to dress in a certain uniform (no wonder even most organizations require people to dress in a certain uniform, even up to today) as a form of forced obedience.

And in most organizations, you are reminded that if you don’t wear that way during working hours you will be punished. It’s not a matter of choice. You do it out of fear of the Boss (Master) so that you can keep the Job.

Parents Have A Responsibility To Train Their Children.

It is the responsibility of every parent to guide their children. But what if as a parent I wasn’t trained, or didn’t have a mother or father figure? That is why as parents we should read our Bible carefully because the Bible gives us an example of Timothy who was taught the faith of God by his mother and grandmother. We see Timothy grew as a very responsible person and was even noticed by Paul who said that “I am reminded of your sincere faith, which first lived in your grandmother Lois and in your mother Eunice and, I am persuaded, now lives in you also ” (2 Timothy 1:5).

In the Book of Acts 16:1-3, we see that Timothy’s father was a gentile and a non-believer in Jesus Christ. Yet, beginning with Timothy’s grandmother Lois, and then on to his mother Eunice, they were able to make a difference in teaching Timothy as a boy, after which he would grow up to be one of the early successful ministers of the Church and a faithful companion and co-worker Paul.

This was achieved despite the negative influences of living in a gentile nation and in a home with an unbeliever. The positive choices Lois made certainly benefited her descendants.

Just as Timothy’s grandmother and mother knew that no matter what happens they should train their children well, we too should do the same because the Bible commands us to do so in the Book of Deuteronomy 6:1-12. We are where we are in life because someone taught us something which helped us. So, it’s your duty as a parent to teach your childrenthe same or even better, No excuse!  Always remember it’s your responsibility to teach your children so, don’t pass it on to others be it a school or a church, or a club.

But Where Are We Getting It Wrong As Parents?

When you start delegating your responsibility as a parent to others be it your aunties, uncles, brothers, sisters, and God knows who else then expect all hell to break loose. Remember family values differ from family to family and there are some things that are ok in one family but not in another.

Always remember that the devil knows what the Bible says about training our children but he will make us to be so busy that we don’t have time to train our children and to compensate for that we start name-calling to patronize the children or make the child feel that we care but in reality, we have failed as parents so we start calling our children and “mommy” or “daddy” and even we start doing what the children say or they will throw tantrums, or even refuse food and cry, so many parents have refused to train their children for fear of this and hence their children are lost to the things of this world.

Just imagine, what does a two-year-old child know? Let’s say you were to listen to this two-year-old how far would you go in terms of planning?

No wonder the bible in the Book of Proverbs 22:15 says, “Children just naturally do silly, careless things, but a good spanking will teach them how to behave”. Some of the silly things you will nowadays hear are a nine-year-old child saying to his parents he or she wants a boyfriend or a girlfriend. Brethren, where did that come from? For instance, in China, a nine-year-old girl became the world’s youngest mother after giving birth to a baby boy by Caesarean section. How did this happen and who is to blame for it, where were the   parents by then?

So, parents do your part. But what about the government? Just imagine those government people passing the laws they were trained and that is why they are where they are, but they want to destroy your children. Between God and the Government who is bigger and whom do you obey? The choice is yours. But when Joshua had to choose between doing the right thing or not, he chose to do the right thing that pleased God in the book of Joshua 24:15

Do you really love your children? Then do the right thing now, as directed by the Bible in the Book of Proverbs 13:24, “If you love your children, you will correct them; if you don’t love them, you won’t correct them.”

Proverbs 22:6, “Teach your children right from wrong, and when they are grown, they will still do right.” Remember the mighty oak tree, it starts small, and it takes ground by sending roots everywhere and then it becomes hard to uproot. Do you see the lovely roses they grow up with thorns but if you want them for a function then you got to get rid of the thorns otherwise, they will hurt you or hurt someone else. So, let us remove the bad things (negative traits) in our children and they will do us proud.

Parents never forget that no one is born a leader, but they are made by the system so are you making your child a leader or breaking him? This means there is an element of training on your part so what are you doing on your part, or have you handed your part to the others, this could be the teachers or relatives or nannies who are too busy to notice when your child is getting lost. Remember some of these people you expect to help you, nature your child are already lost or don’t have anything good to offer your child.

Are You Doing Your Part As A Parent?

Remember why we are what we are is because someone did his part or didn’t do his part hence, we turned out that way. Just imagine a dog knows it’s master and obeys him, so do your children know that they should obey you? The Bible says we shouldn’t fashion ourselves with this world (1 John 2:15), or we will miss heaven. Remember that God says one thing, and the world says the opposite.

Children Beware Of These Things!

“Your personality is not the first thing people see”, It is your clothes “Your clothing speaks long before you do.”  What that means is that whether you say a word or not, what you’re wearing is talking. Your clothing could be talking softly, or it could be talking very loudly. What do you want your wardrobe to be doing for you? Or better yet, what do you want your clothes to NOT be doing for you?

The first impression is always based on appearance. an opinion is made within 20 seconds of meeting a person for the first time. the response one gets is based on the impression formed. if your clothes make you appear like a serious Christian, you’ll be treated that way. if your clothes make you appear like a liberal Christian, treatment will be accordingly. however, with time first impressions could change when the ‘content’ of the person is apparent. before that happens, positive or negative reactions would have taken place.

‘You are addressed the way you dress’ Do you know where this phrase came from? Even during bible times, it was common practice to address a person based on his dress code, we see this in the book of James 2:1-3, in those days they considered dressing as a form of your status. so, if you dressed well people honour you and vice versa. We see from this verse that if you were poor then this was reflected in your dressing. As we were growing up, we saw poor people wearing torn clothes because they couldn’t afford new ones.

During bible days if someone received bad news such as the death of a person as we can see in the Books of 2 Kings 19:1-2 and 1 Kings 20:31 then they would tire their clothes.

In case if you were sick during those days then you were supposed to wear torn clothes to let others know that you are sick and they shouldn’t come near you to avoid being infected, as we can see in the Book of Leviticus 13:45, “If you ever have leprosy, you must tear your clothes, leave your hair uncombed, cover the lower part of your face, and go around shouting, “I’m unclean! I’m unclean!”.

So now why are the youth of today and even some parents wearing these torn clothes? Are they mourning or fasting or sick? The Bible says don’t wear torn clothes, but the devil says it’s fashion time and the world follows it and it’s trending nowadays. Nowadays the more torn the clothe the more people respect and honor you. This contrasts with Joel 2:13, “Don’t tear your clothing…”

I know you are asking what this has to do with today’s topic, it has to do with everything. Remember that everything you in this world is driven by the unseen world, in short behind everything there is a spirit. For instance, when we dress in torn clothes, we attract the spirit of poverty in everything we do, and since spirits hang out in numbers, they ruin the victim’s life completely (Matthew 12:44-45)

Remember the man who lived in the tombs had not worn clothes for a long time (Luke 8:27)   no wonder sooner or later our children start doing and hanging in those places (abandoned buildings, grave sites, and dump sites) almost naked or with torn clothes. But after that man who lived in the tombs was healed the first thing, he did was to clean himself up and put on new clothes (Luke 8:35) this is because the spirit which need those dirty torn clothes was gone (Matthew 12:43-44).

Examples Of People Who Wore Torn Clothes In The Bible

  • Joshua was clothed in filthy rags by the devil so as to discredit him (Zechariah 3:2-4)
  • The prodigal son was clothed in rags when he lived with pigs and ate with them after all pigs are dirty. (Luke 15:16); So when he came back to his sense he remembered this is not how people dress and eat no wonder he said even the lowest in his father’s house and that is the servant doesn’t eat and dress like this and he went backhome. (Luke 15:17). On his arrival he was washed and dressed well (Luke 15:22).
  • No wonder we are told in heaven that we will be dressed in white (Revelation 7:13).
  • A person who didn’t have a wedding gown was thrown out of heaven. (Matthew 22:11-14)

There is a way we should dress to please God. dressing is one way to mark a person or a child no wonder when we do rituals, we change our dressing to something else. So that the gods can identify us, and not only that when they want to connect with us at a deeper level then blood is needed at some point.

Nowadays we see that drug addicts inject themselves and hence a pack of blood is formed with the spirits no wonder this bond is very hard to break.

Most of the time when one visits a witch they also cut us with blades and mix our blood with some portion so as to create a bond with the spirit world.

I know that most of you might say that they don’t do that, or they even don’t visit witches. While this might be true but If you have a tattoo, then already you have made a pack with the spirit world (Leviticus 19:28).

We see a case in point of baal prophets who called their god and even cut themselves (tattooed) them to please their god and even shouted during times of Elijah (1 Kings 18:28)

You can easily identify a spirit by its dressing code and marking. For instance when it comes to :

  • Rasta man check their dress code and their hairstyle.
  • The white garment the look at their dress code and their hairstyle.
  • Traditional people look at their dress code and marks on their bodies.

All these are marking and forms of identification with a particular deity or gods.

Brethren even animals in the olden days were marked to show ownership. For instance, remember the story of Jacob in the bible and how he marked his animals to identify them as his (Genesis 30:37-40). So if we can mark the animals So God or the devil can mark his people.

We see that Christ has marked us (Galatians 6:17) and also the devil also marks his people so as to identify them (Revelation 13:17).

No wonder our children are marked in different ways:

  1. Mode of clothing
  2. Finger Rings, belly rings, and pagan nose rings
  3. Wrist bands even churches are doing it

That is why we see these children behaving in a certain way because the spirit wants that,

So, who do you belong to check your marking now?

No amount of reading the bible and anointing a sin or sinful way will make it right. The pharisee wore white clothes but that was to hide their inside no wonder Jesus said that you you Pharisees whitewash your tombs but inside its full of bones (Matthew 23:26-28)

By the mark, you bear we can identify whom you belong to whether Christ or the devil, and the spirit also will identify you. 1 Peter 1:14-15 God is holy so be holy in all actions and he will accept you and he wont reject you. Look when a spirit takes over the first thing which goes is the hair why because the hair represents your glory and dignity. He stops keeping the hair and he messes and that I  how you know that something is wrong because the glory has left
