Introduction To Crossover.
Brethren, let us pray without ceasing this year so that we can crossover and overcome. This is your year to overcome the giants that withstood you and even stopped you from reaching your full potential.
During the crossover period, a major transaction, both physical and spiritual, takes place, ending the status quo of things. It is a time when most people end up gaining or losing everything they will ever need during the year. No wonder the devil fights the children of God so hard during this time. The devil is fully aware of the importance of this event, both in the physically as well as in the spiritually realm.
The devil therefore always attacks the children of God during the crossover with evil arrows to stop them, delay their progress, and make them lose focus on their Christian journey, or sometimes to disturb their faith in God. Let us arm ourselves with this powerful weapon called prayer.
Remember that the Bible says in the Book of 2 Corinthians 10:3-6, “For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. And we will be ready to punish every act of disobedience, once your obedience is complete.“
So, brethren, let us pray our way to success during this crossover. “The Lord is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him.” (Lamentations 3:25).
Step 1: Repent.
Before you start praying these crossover prayers, spend some time confessing your sins and the sins of your ancestors; mention these sins by name if possible; and ask God for forgiveness and mercy. Please note that the Holy Spirit will remind you of many other unrepented sins. so still try to repent them also.
Step 2: Renounce And Revoke.
Before you start praying this crossover prayers, first renounce and reject your involvement with ungodly associations, clubs, ungodly fraternities, cults, witches, false churches, etc. Mention them by name if possible. If you have anything belonging to them, destroy it immediately. At this moment, break any ties that were made knowingly or unknowingly by your parents or grandparents with any of the evil groups mentioned above.
Pray like this:
1. O Lord, I repent and ask forgiveness for my involvement with this … group (mention the name). Please wash me clean with the blood of Jesus Christ and help me never to go back to them, in Jesus’ name.
2. O Lord, I hereby renounce my association with this ….. group and the associated spirits in Jesus’ name (mention the name).
3. By the power of the Holy Spirit, I reject all the properties, symbols, and jewelry of these evil groups in my possession, and I release the fire of God to burn them to ashes in Jesus’ name.
4. I bind all the spirits, powers, entities, and strongholds associated with this evil group, and I cast them out of my life forever by the power in the blood of Jesus Christ.
Step 3: Thanksgiving And Praise.
5. Take a few minutes to thank God through praise and worship. Before you start praying these crossover prayers, then pray like this:
6. O Lord, I give you thanks for all the good things you have done for me and my family throughout the year. In Jesus’ name.
7. O Lord, I thank You for answering my prayer and giving me victory when I was supposed to fail, in Jesus’ name.
8. Please thank the Lord for all that he has done for you. It could be at work, healing, a business contract, or whatever.
Step 4: Pray Prayers To Close The Year.
Before you start praying these crossover prayers to close the year, please take a few minutes to close certain doors and open certain doors.
You can pray like this:
9. Let the fire of the Holy Spirit burn to ashes every periodic spirit of failure and bondage in my life that has followed throughout the year, in Jesus’ name.
10. By the power in the name of Jesus, I command any evil power standing in the gap to renew bondages in my life, to fall down, and to die in Jesus’ name.
11. O Lord, let the blood of Jesus silence every evil cry of my ancestral idols against my destiny, in Jesus’ name.
12. Let the power in the blood of Jesus cancel every satanic accusation against me at the gate of my father’s house that says that I will not prosper this new year, in Jesus’ name.
13. My father! My Father! Send you angels to release all my blessings captured and transferred by the witchcraft powers of my father’s house, in Jesus’ name.
14. In the name of Jesus, I command all the evil doors and gates still open to swallow my blessing to close now, in Jesus name.
15. Remember to thank the Lord for answering your prayers throughout the year during your crossover prayers.
Step 5: Pray Prayers To Usher The New Year.
At exactly midnight, start praying these crossover prayers like this:
16. Pointing at the skies, pray like this: You doors and gates of this new year (mention the year) open! Open! Open! And let me in with all my blessings, in Jesus’ name.
17. O Lord, release the list of all my divine helpers so that they can locate me, and I can locate them, in Jesus’ name.
18. O Lord, let the sun, moon, and stars cooperate with me to make me an overcomer and a champion, in Jesus’ name.
19. O Lord, quicken my mortal body to achieve prosperity at all levels, healing, and divine exploits, in Jesus’ name.
20. After these prayers, re-dedicate yourself to the Lord for the New Year ahead of you.
21. Pronounce blessings upon yourself, your family, your business, your career, and anything else of value. Command the devil to take his hands from these things.
22. Praise and thank the Lord for as long as you can for giving you a chance to see this new year.
23. Now is the time to pray for your friends, family, church, your leaders, your nation, and those that the Holy Spirit brings to your heart.
Conclusion.
Happy New Year, MTM Church Family! Let us start this new year with God, and we will end well with goodies. Let’s cross over and take over what belongs to us. Let’s pray together those crossover prayers, and it shall be well.
