Why Should We Start the Month of April With Prayers?

As we usher in the month of April, we know that it comes into our lives and it carries new blessings, fortunes etc. God always has something new for us every new month and the month of April is not an exception. Today we shall be engaging in April month prayer points with scriptures. We shall be speaking into the month of April as we enter into it. When you begin to start every month with prayers, you will never be a victim in any month.

Through your prayers, you enforce good over your life, through your prayers, you reject every evil that comes with the month of April, through your prayers, you call forth all the success that comes with the month of April over your life. As a matter of fact, every declaration you will make on the altar of prayers during the month of April shall become your portion all throughout the month in Jesus name.

Thank God for what he has done:

O Lord my Father, thank you for being my God, thank you for the privilege of knowing you, thank you for always being there for me and with me. O God my Father, thank you for the great and mighty things that you are doing in my life, thank you for your provision and protection over me and my household, thank you for always answering my prayers.

Repent and confess your sins

O LORD, forgive me of my sins and let the precious blood of Jesus avail for me great miracles in Jesus’ name. I confess my sins before you today and I ask you to forgive me based on your mercy, in Jesus’ name.

Plead the Blood of Jesus (before you start praying these prayers).

O Lord wash me clean today by the blood of Jesus Christ. I cover myself and my household with the blood of Jesus.

Then start by confessing out loud this Scripture to usher in the new month of April.

2 Corinthians 5:17 (Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.)

Isaiah 43:18-19 (“Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.)

Now start praying:

1. My Father! My Father! I take authority over this month of April, I shall speak, and my words shall bring testimonies in this month, in Jesus name.

2. O Lord by the power in your name, make me and my family members completely immune to any form of sickness, infirmity or disease this month of April, in Jesus name.

3. My Father! My Father, Send Archangel Gabriel to bring all-around success during the month of April, those that mocked me in the past shall celebrate with me, and I will encounter and experience full-scale laughter on all fronts, in Jesus name.

4. My Father! My Father! Send salvation angels to redeem this month of April from manipulation, accident, sickness, fire inferno, etc. Let the Spirits of favour, counsel, might and power, come upon me, in Jesus’ name.

5. During the month of April, I will do the will of God and I will also serve Him, in Jesus’ name.

6. My Father! My Father, Send Archangel Michael to empower me and protect me whether I am on the sea, in the air or on the road, in Jesus’ name.

7. By the power in the Blood of Jesus there shall be no more curse of struggle, setbacks, hard labour, and suffering in your life in Jesus name. The Lord is opening new doors for you. Receive it.

8. By the power in the Blood of Jesus during the month of April I cover myself with the blood of Jesus so that no evil power will use the moon to monitor me at night and the sun to track me in the day, in Jesus’ name.

9. By the power in the name of Jesus I decree and declare that every season of dryness, fruitlessness and sorrow is over during the month of April, let the glory of God come into my life, in Jesus’ name.

10. O Lord during the month of April, I enter into the covenant of favour, whereby divine deposits shall settle in my life, in Jesus’ name.

11. By the power of the Holy Ghost during the month of April, the anointing of success and fruitfulness shall rest upon me, hence I will not be a candidate of sweating without results, in Jesus’ name.

12. By the power of the Holy Ghost, I pull down every negative power programmed in the sun, the moon and the stars, to operate against my life, my family, career, etc this month of April, in Jesus’ name.

13. My Father! My Father! During the month of April, send your warring angels to destroy every strongman of bad luck, late marriage, sorrow, hardship, frustration, disappointment, lack attached to my life, career, business etc, in Jesus name.

14. By the power in the Blood of Jesus let every covenant of backwardness, stagnation and repeated failures operating at the edge of my breakthrough be broken today, in the name of Jesus.

15. Pray in tongues for 10-15 minutes for the Holy Ghost to connect you with your breakthrough angels to usher in the new month of April.
