Introduction.
We all hate poverty in all its forms, but just like darkness comes without being invited, so does poverty. Ancestral poverty is a cruel master who will make you eat, drink, and sleep anywhere. It is because of poverty, that most of us have done things we are not proud of.
The Bible says in Proverbs 19:7 “If you are poor, your own relatives reject you, and your friends are worse. When you really need them, they are not there.”
Some of us are victims of ancestral poverty because of the things our forefathers did, which earned them curses, and now we also partake of those curses. In other words, we are lying on a bed we did not make ourselves. No wonder the Bible says in Lamentations 5:7 that “Our ancestors sinned, but they have died—and we are suffering the punishment they deserved!”.
So, what are you doing about it? Have you accepted the verdict passed on you by the devil and his cohorts to make you poor?
Many families are languishing in poverty, not because they are not as hard-working as others, but because there problem is generational. Ancestral poverty frustrates your efforts no matter how hard you try; it makes a man work like an elephant and eat like ants.
If you are experiencing such problems in your family, don’t fold your hands in tears and complain, but rise as a warrior and declare these prayers. Remember, from the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has suffered violence, and the violent take it by force. (Matthew 11:12).
From today, brethren, don’t let the devil and his cohorts make you their slaves of ancestral poverty; choose to fight alongside me to break any chains of ancestral poverty through these prayers.
26 Proven Prayers To Break Ancestral Poverty Now.
Start by praising the Lord in your own words and also by praising and worshipping Him through songs for about 5–10 minutes.
After this, read a few verses from your Bible promising you victory from ancestral poverty (Proverbs 14:20, Proverbs 19:4, and many others in that line).
Now Start Praying:
1. O Lord, I repent of my sins and the sins of my ancestors. I repent for disobeying Your commands, for turning away from You, and for listening to the devil and to evil men instead of listening to Your voice. O Lord, I repent of anger, resentment, greed, and any bloodshed running in our lineage. Lord, please forgive me and my family line concerning any blood that cries out against us. I ask for full forgiveness for the penalties of sin that resulted in the curse of poverty upon my life and family.
2. By the power in the blood of Jesus Christ, I receive redemption from ancestral curses of poverty and lack, in Jesus name.
3. By the power and authority in the blood of Jesus Christ, I break all curses of poverty, lack, never having enough, financial struggle, financial instability, empty pockets, empty bank accounts, hard labor, no blessing, and any other form of lack and want in my bloodline from my life to my past generations, in Jesus name.
4. In the mighty name of Jesus, I command that evil pot of household wickedness, designed to strengthen ancestral poverty in my life, and my family to break into pieces, in Jesus’ name.
5. Every evil covenant that is directly responsible for my financial hardship, financial difficulties, financial embarrassment, and the curses of an empty pocket in my life shall be revoked now by the power and authority of Jesus, in Jesus name.
6. In the mighty name of Jesus, I command every evil ancestral power that is trying to adjust my life into poverty so as to humiliate me, to fall down and die, in Jesus name.
7. My Father! My Father! Send your record-keeping angels to erase our family names from the register of ancestral poverty, in Jesus name.
8. By the power in the name of Jesus, I command every satanic barrier designed to hold me back from my desired blessings and breakthroughs to be broken into pieces now, in Jesus’ name.
9. My Father! My Father! Make all the ancestral spirits monitoring our progress go blind. O Lord, break all their monitoring gadgets like mirrors, evil rivers, crystal balls, and all other astral monitoring gadgets in Jesus name.
10. O Lord, I command the thunder fire of God to strike and break into pieces all the satanic arrows of poverty, including every known and unknown foundational arrow of poverty, fired into my life, in Jesus’ name.
11. O Lord, I bind all family curses of poverty and cast them out of my life, my home, my finances, and every other area of life now in Jesus name.
12. In the name of Jesus, I command that every spiritual chain of slavery inherited from my ancestors, upon my life, break into pieces now and let me loose, in Jesus name.
13. By the power of the Holy Ghost, I renounce and reverse every financial curse upon my life, my spouse in Jesus name.
14.. By the power of the Holy Ghost, I renounce and reverse every curse of an empty pocket as well as fruitless hard work upon my life, in Jesus name.
15. In every stronghold of ancestral poverty, in the place where I am living now, and in my place of work or my business place, I pull you down, in Jesus name.
16. My Father! My Father! Send your warring angels to go to all the known and unknown evil kingdoms to try and locate every evil bank that is cashing in my financial blessings in exchange for poverty in my life and destroy them, in Jesus name.
17.. I bind and destroy the activities of anti-miracle forces and anti-breakthrough forces operating in my life by the power and authority in Jesus’ name.
18. My Father! My Father! Disconnect me from every evil dream of poverty that is sponsored by village wickedness as well as household wickedness, in Jesus name.
19. Let the blood of Jesus Christ terminate any ancestral sacrifice speaking against our lives and progress, in Jesus name.
20. In the mighty name of Jesus, I command that every stubborn strongman of poverty in my place of birth (mention the place), who has vowed that I will not prosper, catch fire now, in Jesus name.
21. My Father! My Father! Give me the power to break every satanic chain of poverty off my life, in the name of Jesus Christ
22. In the name of Jesus, I nullify every negative word in the form of a curse or a jinx, enforcing ancestral poverty in my life, in Jesus’ name.
23. Every satanic barrier designed to hold me back from my desired portion shall be shattered to pieces in Jesus’ name.
24. My prayers today will not go in vain; my prayers will produce the desired results in the name of Jesus Christ.
25. I cover myself, my family, my career, and my business from any demonic after-prayer attack with the precious blood of Jesus.
