1 Thessalonians 2:18 “Therefore we wanted to come to you—even I, Paul, time and again—but Satan hindered us.”
The word “attachment” means to be “joined together”. When we say Demonic attachments, it refers to certain powers that have programmed themselves with their victims to harm and manipulate them. The passage above describes Paul’s experience of having an ill attachment that prevented him from carrying out his ministry duties. These malevolent attachments are impure spirits that significantly impede people’s advancement.
A demonic attachment is simply a place in your thought life where repeated acceptance of demonic suggestions allows a demon to easily influence you. Some may refer to this as a “stronghold. Spirit attachments would be spirits that attach themselves to a human life.
Each person’s life is unique. Attachments can look as different as our lives. Often it is something we know we shouldn’t be doing (a sin), but we just can’t seem to stop. It can be drinking, smoking, sleeping around, gossiping… Or a hundred other little things. It is the Holy Spirit who will reveal what the enemy is using to remain in your life. Let’s Pray
1. Heavenly Father, I confess all my sins (Mention them one by one) and repent them before you, and I re-dedicate myself fully to you in Jesus name.
2. Heavenly Father, I renounce and reject every sin that has opened the door to demonic attachments in my life in Jesus name.
3. O Lord, surround me with Your fire and shield me from every attack of the enemy, in Jesus name.
4. Let every demonic attachment affecting my finances, leading to lack and poverty in my life to break by fire, in Jesus’ name.
5. Let every territorial spirit assigned to my location be bound and cast out, in Jesus’ name.
6. I break every evil agreement I have knowingly or unknowingly made with the enemy, that has led to this demonic influence and attachment, in Jesus’ name.
7. Every demon assigned to torment me with fear, depression, or oppression, I command you to go, in Jesus’ name.
8. Every demonic attachment inherited from my bloodline, be destroyed by the blood of Jesus.
9. Every demon feeding off my peace, joy, and progress, I command you to lose your grip and leave now, in Jesus’ name.
10. Every sickness as well as strange movement in my body caused by demonic attachment, leave my body now, in Jesus’ name.
11. I command every monitoring spirit assigned to my life to be blinded now, in Jesus’ name
12. Heavenly Father, release Your fire to scatter every demonic meeting held against me in the spirit realm in Jesus name.
13. I command every evil attachment influencing my decisions to be destroyed, in Jesus’ name
14. Holy Spirit, cleanse me from every contamination caused by demonic attachments planted in my life through dreams, in Jesus’ name.
15. Every attachment to marine spirits in my life, break now by the blood of Jesus.
16. Every evil deposit in my body, soul, or spirit, be flushed out by the blood of Jesus.
17. O Lord, remove any person in my life being used as a demonic agent, in Jesus’ name.
18. I declare that every evil attachment holding me back from fulfilling God’s purpose is destroyed in Jesus’ name.
19. O Lord, expose every hidden demonic attachment in my life, and remove it by Your power.
20. Thank You, Lord, for delivering me from every demonic attachment and setting me free. Amen.
