Introduction
Did you know that not all fasts are acceptable to the Lord? According to Zechariah 7:5, “Say to all the people of the land and the priests, ‘When you fasted and mourned in the fifth month and in the seventh, for these seventy years, was it for me that you fasted?” Some are demonic fasting.
Remember that even the Muslims, the Hindus, the Buddhists, and even the witches do fast (Jeremiah 14:11–12), Why do they fast even though they know that God won’t notice it? Yes, God might not notice it, but the devil does, and he increases their evil powers in return.
Fasting isn’t a way of “twisting God’s arm” or of telling Him, “You better answer my prayer, or I’ll starve to death!” That is a hunger strike, not a biblical fast! Remember how David fasted and prayed for his sick baby with Bathsheba to live for several days, but the baby died as a result of God disciplining David. Fasting had no effect on his situation. David wasn’t praying with confidence since he didn’t have a promise to rely on. In fact, as the outcome shows, he was praying and fasting against God’s will.
So be careful not to be led by demons in your fasting and praying. Fasting to prove one’s spirituality or to show one’s devotion to God is a waste of time and a sign of hypocrisy. The Pharisees fasted for this reason, and Jesus rebuked them for it. (Matthew 6:16, Matthew 23:5).
Some people fast in order to defeat Satan. But that isn’t in the Bible. If we resist Satan by obeying God’s Word, Scripture says that he will flee from us, in this case, fasting is not necessary (James 4:7, 1 Peter 5:8 to 9). Check carefully so that your fasting doesn’t lead you to end up serving demons and not Christ. So, let’s pray these prayers seriously so that, we can destroy the effects of every demonic fasting.
Praise and worship
Start by praising and worshiping for about 5-10 minutes.
Thank God for what he has done
O Lord my Father, thank you for being my God, thank you for the privilege of knowing you, thank you for always being there for me and with me. O God my Father, thank you for the great and mighty things that you are doing in my life, thank you for your provision and protection over me and my household, thank you for always answering my prayers.
Repent and confess your sins
O LORD, forgive me of my sins and let the precious blood of Jesus avail for me great miracles in Jesus name. I confess my sins before you today and I ask you to forgive me on the basis of your mercy, in Jesus’ name.
Plead the Blood of Jesus (before you start praying these prayers).
O Lord wash me clean today by the blood of Jesus Christ. I cover myself and my household with the blood of Jesus.
Then start by confessing out loud this Scripture to help you destroy the effects of every demonic fasting.
Isaiah 58:5 (Is this the kind of fasting I have chosen? Should people humble themselves for [only] a day? Is fasting just bowing your head like a cattail and making your bed from sackcloth and ashes? Is this what you call fasting? Is this an acceptable day to the LORD?)
Matthew 6:16 (When you fast, stop looking sad like hypocrites. They put on sad faces to make it obvious that they’re fasting. I can guarantee this truth: That will be their only reward.)
Now start praying:

1. My Father! My Father! Let every demonic fasting backed by the heavenly realm, the sea, and the evil forest against me and my family to destroy our destinies turn to nothing, in Jesus name.
2. By the power of the Holy Ghost, let every demonic fasting observed to kill my vision, health, marriage, destiny, etc be frustrated and die, in the name of Jesus.

6. O Lord, let every evil agreement against me and my family that was made under the unction of a demonic fasting, scatter and turn to nothing, in Jesus name.
7. My Father! My Father! Send your warring angels to go and destroy anyone contacting a demonic fast so as to destroy me or my family, in Jesus name.
8. O Lord, destroy every witchcraft place, demonic churches, etc where they are holding this demonic fasting to be destroyed by the fire of the Holy Spirit, in Jesus name.
9. By the power of the Holy Ghost, I shall pursue and recover everything I have lost as a result of demonic fasting made by any false prophet, witch doctor, etc, in Jesus name.
10. By the power of the Holy Ghost, I decree and declare that every evil effect of demonic fasting over MTM Church be nullified by the blood of Jesus.
11. By the power of the Holy Ghost, I pull down every evil effect of demonic fasting offered with the full backing of the sun, moon, stars, and any other heavenly host in Jesus name.
12. My Father! My Father!, destroy every false prophet who is doing any demonic fasting backed by evil altars against my life, career, health, etc., in Jesus name.
13. I weaken, break down, and pressure every stubborn demon and stronghold being to strengthen the demonic fasting. You are getting weaker and weaker, and I am getting stronger and stronger. I exercise long war against you until you are completely defeated and destroyed from my life in Jesus name.
14. The anointing is increasing in my life through prayer and fasting and every stubborn yoke is been destroyed, in Jesus name.
15. In the mighty name of Jesus I overthrow all transactions contrary to my breakthrough, every power jamming answers to my prayers disappear, by the blood of Jesus I shake down the seat of darkness in my heavens, I reject the power of satanic human government over my finances in THE NAME OF JESUS!
Pray in tongues for 10-15 minutes for the Holy Ghost to connect you with your warring angels to help you destroy the effects of every demonic fasting.
