Introduction.
Proverbs 23:6–8, “Don’t eat at the table of a stingy person or be greedy for the fine food he serves. “Come on and have some more,” he says, but he doesn’t mean it. What he thinks is what he really is. You will vomit up what you have eaten, and all your flattery will be wasted.” As you can see, that just as it is dangerous to eat the food of a stingy man, so is the case with eating in the dream.
As you can see, food is very important to some people, and they will only offer it to others if, in exchange, they will get something in return. Remember that food is food, whether in the dream or not, and it’s termed as fuel for our lives.
Just as it is important to eat, so it is to dream (eating in the dream), and that is why everyone dreams, whether they know it or not, but the question is, what kind of dreams do they dream? And what things do they dream of doing? Do those things they dream of either doing or having to glorify God or not?
According to Leviticus 11:44, the Bible says, I am the LORD your God; consecrate yourselves and be holy, because I am holy. Do not make yourselves unclean by any creature that moves along the ground.
God knows what would make us unclean, and whatever God tells us to do is for our good (Deuteronomy 10:13).
We read in the Book of Acts 10:13–14, “A voice said to him, “Get up, Peter; kill and eat!” But Peter said, “Certainly not, Lord! I have never eaten anything ritually unclean or defiled.”
But Peter was not about to disobey God by even eating in the dream or physically doing what was unclean because his spirit man was awake. Always remember, according to 1 Corinthians 10:21, that you cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons too; you cannot have a part in both the Lord’s table and the table of demons, especially eating in the dream.
Eating is eating, whether in the spirit world or the physical world, so guard what you eat carefully including eating in the dream. It can make you or break you. Just imagine you are fasting, and it’s the time these dreams increase.
When the devil wants to destroy a particular thing in your life, he will feed you with a particular kind of food; it could be rotten foods, indigenous foods, and many other demonic foods.
The demonic world uses certain foods to introduce certain problems or even initiate certain people into their kingdom. Remember, what you think you are eating in the dream is not necessarily what you are eating. If you are eating meat in your dream, it might be human flesh (Psalm 27:1-2).
Due to a lack of knowledge, most of us have eaten demonic or unclean foods in our dreams. Since eating in the dream is a foundational problem, it can only be addressed by working on your foundation first. Eating in the dream becomes a problem when it becomes a frequent thing every time you dream. It can cost you greatly, both physically and spiritually. These kinds of dreams are not godly.
The Bible tells us that the devil came to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). So, we should not be ignorant of the devil’s devices, especially eating in the dream. When the devil wants to feed you in the dream, he will use all means necessary. He will use your deceased loved ones, your friends, your parents, and people you respect, like your boss or landlord.
Remember the real people wearing the faces of all these people so that they can make you feel comfortable while they feed you in the dream: are people of household wickedness, spiritual thieves, household strongmen, familiar spirits, and even ancestral powers. The place you are eating this food doesn’t matter; it could be in the church, office, at your home, or at a restaurant, or a relative’s place. it doesn’t matter; it’s still evil.
The devil is careful not to alert you of what he is doing in the spirit world against you so that is why he uses such people to make you feel comfortable while he destroys you.
What Happens When A Person Is Eating In The Dream?
1. The devil steals from that person most of his virtues.
2. The devil poisons the virtues of that person so that the person can’t operate well.
3. The devil injects troubles, misfortunes, and even deadly incurable diseases into the life of that person.
4. These foods are not ordinary; they are projected satanic arrows and evil deposits meant to manipulate and destroy our lives.
5. Through these foods eaten in the dream, poisons, strange animals, sicknesses, and so much more have been introduced into our lives.
6. It might lead to the exchange or transfer of a once-good star for another person’s bad star.
7. It spells disaster to most of the dreamers because, knowingly or unknowingly you end up being introduced to witchcraft.
8. It can lead to failure at the edge of a breakthrough in anything and everything you do, despite your efforts and education.
9. It leads to an exchange of something good for something evil and that can cover you or chain you in one spot.
10. When this food is eaten it might be stored in the spiritual system which in your body might be a certain organ waiting for the right time and conditions to start working. At that moment you are weak in the spirit.
11. It leads to aborted destinies, and even life is shortened.
12. It weakens your prayer altar.
2 Timothy 2:21, “If a man therefore purges himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.”
If you wake up and start feeling uncomfortable after a dream since you were eating in the dream, you should vomit out such food spiritually through prayers and fasting before it spreads to all parts of your blood system.
