Great Miracles: 30 Sure Ways To Always Receive Them

Listen to this article

Receiving great miracles as a Christian involves a combination of faith, obedience, intimacy with God, and spiritual positioning. Miracles are not random events—they are often the result of divine principles being followed diligently.

Here Are Ways To Help You Receive Miracles:

1. Grow in Faith and Expectation: Miracles are released on the platform of faith. “…According to your faith be it unto you…” ( Matthew 9:29). Expectation activates the supernatural miracles in your life (Acts 3:5).

2.Partner with the Holy Spirit: Greater miracles happen when you are sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit. According to Isaiah 30:21 it says, “… your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,…”

3.Obey God Promptly and Fully: Most miracles are triggered by obedience for instance in the book of 2 Kings 5:10-14 Naaman was told by prophet Elisha to go and wash himself in a dirty river Jordan and he will be healed. Yes the instruction might not make sense but that is the key to the miracle.

4.Pray Fervently and Persistently: Miracles are often birthed through deep, persistent intercession (Luke 18:1–8). Keep praying, keep believing, keep expecting. Remember that The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” (James 5:16).God honors perseverance in prayer and faith.

5.Thank God Before and After the Miracle: Always remember that worship and thanksgiving attract God’s presence and power. So “In everything give thanks…” ( 1 Thessalonians 5:18). Gratitude multiplies miracles (John 6:11-13). Jesus gave thanks before multiplying bread (John 6:11). So thank God for the miracle before you see it manifest.

6.Live a Life of Praise and Joy: Joy which comes from praising God strengthens faith (Nehemiah 8:10) and when that happens miracles flow in that atmosphere.

7. Surround Yourself with Like-minded Believers: Faith is contagious so join prayer groups, miracle ministries, or church communities where miracles are happening. Let their testimonies strengthen your faith (Hebrews 10:24-25)..

8.Keep Your Tongue Guarded: Speak life, not death. Negative words can hinder miracles (Proverbs 18:21). Soavoid complaining or doubting; instead, declare God’s promises.

9.Understand and Access Divine Portals: Certain places and times act as divine portals they are gateways to God’s power (Genesis 28:12–17). So always align yourself with prophetic atmospheres: revival meetings, holy convocations, and prayer mountains.

10. Honor the Vessels God Uses: Most people block their miracles by dishonoring men and women God sends to them. “…He who receives a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward.” (Matthew 10:41).If you honor God’s servants, their grace and miracles can overflow to you.

11.Build God an Altar: An altar is a place of sacrifice, surrender, and covenant. Altars are spiritual gateways—places of covenant and transaction. So build a prayer altar in your home and dedicate it to God and use it daily. For instance Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Elijah all built physical or spiritual altars and experienced powerful miracles afterward.

12.Use the Name of Jesus with Authority: Calling on Jesus’ name with authority breaks chains, shuts down the enemy, and unlocks miracles. Afterall Jesus said, “Whatever you ask in my name, I will do it…” (John 14:13)

13.Call Forth Angelic Assistance: We see that in the book of Daniel 10:12 miracles are often carried out by angelic intervention. Remember that Angels are assigned to help you inherit God’s promises (Hebrews 1:14).

14.Be Willing to Be Uncomfortable: Every miracle involves a step of faith outside your comfort zone. Whether it’s Peter stepping out of the boat (Matthew 14), or the widow giving her last meal (1 Kings 17), miracles live outside comfort.

15.Sanctify Your Environment: Some atmospheres resist miracles. Remove items connected to witchcraft, immorality, or defilement (Acts 19:19). Fill your space with scripture, praise music, and holy conversation.

16. Pray in Alignment with Heaven’s Agenda: When your desires match God’s will, miracles come swiftly (1 John 5:14-15).Your miracle may be hidden in Kingdom alignment, not personal desire alone. So ask the Holy Spirit: “What are You doing in this season, Lord? Let me be part of it.”

17. Write the Vision and Declare It: According to Habakkuk 2:2–3 teaches us to write the vision plainly. Miracles need a container: write down your expectation, declare it daily, and act like it’s done.Your written vision becomes a legal spiritual document in the courts of Heaven.

18.Sow Where You Want to Go: Miracles often respond to strategic sacrificial giving. Sow into miracle ministries or causes aligned with your need (healing, breakthrough, revival). For instance The widow of Zarephath gave to Elijah and her oil never ran out (1 Kings 17:7=16).

19. Speak to thing for instance the Earth, Heaven, water and other things affecting you: In the realm of miracles, even the earth can respond to prophetic utterance. “O earth, earth, earth, hear the word of the LORD!” — Jeremiah 22:29

20.Connect to Generational Blessings, Not Curses: Some families carry miracle mantles; others suffer from demonic embargoes. So renounce inherited curses, and connect to blessings through prayer and declaration.

21.Release Faith-Filled Prophetic Decrees Daily: Decrees are spiritual legislation. Speak to your health, business, destiny, and environment. For instance, according to Job 22:28: You shall decree a thing, and it shall be established for you.”

22.Understand the Law of Multiplication: God blesses what is offered to Him with thanksgiving no matter how little or small it is. For instance, Jesus took 5 loaves and 2 fish, gave thanks, and fed thousands (Matthew 14:19–20).

23.Refuse to Be Discouraged by Previous Failures: God rewards persistence, not perfection. Keep praying, keep expecting, keep standing. For instance Elijah prayed for rain seven times. The first six brought nothing—but the seventh brought breakthrough (1 Kings 18:43–44).

24.Enter Into Periods of Total Consecration: Miracles are attracted to purity, sanctification, and separation. Consecration clears the atmosphere for wonders to manifest. We see this principle in the book of Joshua 3:5 “Sanctify yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among you.”

25. Tap Into Corporate Agreement: According to Matthew 18:19 If two of you agree on earth… it shall be done.”There is power in united faith and multiplied expectation. So go and find a prayer partner or group to stand in agreement for specific miracles.Remember that There is power in united faith and multiplied expectation.

26.Engage the Power of Testimonies: We read in the book of Revelation 12:11: “They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony.” Testimonies have the power to reproduce miracles. When you hear or share a testimony, you create spiritual legal ground for God to do it again.

27.Reverse Negative Prophetic Words or Curses: Some miracles are delayed because of evil decrees—spoken by others or even yourself. So cancel every word curse, hex, or spell against your destiny.

28.Walk in Extreme Generosity: Generous people tap into a realm of multiplication and divine remembrance. When you help others in their need, you provoke Heaven to address yours. According to Acts 10:4 — Your prayers and your alms have come up for a memorial before God.”

29.Become a Miracle for Others: Miracles multiply when you become an answer to someone else’s need. For instance Job’s restoration began when he prayed for his friends (Job 42:10).

30.Don’t Just Wait for Miracles—Create Them: Through prayer, obedience, wisdom, and prophetic action, you can initiate miracles. For instance, the woman with the issue of blood created her miracle by pressing in faith ( Matthew 9:20-22).
