ToggleHoliness: What Will It Surely Cost Me Now
A Generation Losing the Fear of God: We live in a time where many want:
To be called, anointed, elevated but without the fire of consecration (Ephesians 5:27). Blessing without obedience; Prophecy without repentance; Platforms without purity; Titles without transformation
The Lord is raising a holy remnant — people who would rather be holy than famous, rather be pure than popular, and rather be faithful than flashy. “Be holy, for I am holy.” – Leviticus 11:45
Holiness is not cheap. It is not for the casual believer. It is for those who are ready to go all in. Salvation is free, but sanctification costs everything (Matthew 16:24). That’s why many fall. “The flies of sin spoil the ointment.” – Ecclesiastes 10:1 Anointing draws attention — but holiness keeps it clean. Many gifted men and women of God fell not because they lacked power, but because they lacked purity. Remember that: Sin drains the oil, Lust defiles the vessel and Pride repels the glory. Only holiness can protect what God has poured.
It’s possible to build a ministry without holiness — but it won’t last.
“Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain.” – Psalm 127:1
Without holiness: You can preach and still perish; You can lead and still be lost; You can perform miracles and still be unknown to Jesus (Matthew 7:21–23). God doesn’t just want your ministry. He wants you. God is not impressed with your gift — He’s drawn to your purity (James 4:8).
What Things Is Holiness Fighting Against:
“Be on guard. Stand firm in the faith. Be courageous. Be strong.” – 1 Corinthians 16:13
The first battle is not external. It begins in your internal wars i.e. the soul between your spirit and your flesh.
“The flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another.” – Galatians 5:17,24
To walk in holiness is to declare war against:
The lust of the eyes ; The pride of life; The spirit of compromise; The agenda of Babylon; The seduction of Jezebel
What Holiness Will Cost You?
Holiness is not just saying no to sin. It is saying YES to the Spirit even when the cost is pain, delay, or misunderstanding.
1. It will cost you the crowd (Relationships that block your growth):
“If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a servant of Christ.” – Galatians 1:10
You mighty look strange in a world that celebrates compromise and pleasure.
“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed…” – Romans 12:2 instead come out from them…( 2 Corinthians 6:17–18) For instance: In every generation, God separates His people to preserve them:
- Noah was separated to survive the flood
- Joseph was separated to preserve a generation
- Daniel was separated to influence kings
- Elijah was hidden to carry revival fire
The more you walk in holiness:
The less you care about being liked, the more you’re willing to be set apart, the clearer your assignment becomes
The bolder your obedience becomes. It frees you from people so you can fully serve the purposes of God.
2. It will cost you convenience
You’ll often be required to fast, pray, study, obey, and wait — when others are enjoying ease.
“Discipline yourself for the purpose of godliness.” – 1 Timothy 4:7
3. It will cost you opportunities
Some doors will close because you refuse to lie, bribe, flirt, or manipulate your way through. But these are the doors God didn’t open.
4. It will cost you speed
Holiness might slow down your worldly progress, but it keeps you in God’s perfect timing.
“He who believes shall not make haste.” – Isaiah 28:16
5. It will cost you self-image
To live holy is to be crucified to self. You no longer live for the flesh or for validation.
“I have been crucified with Christ…” – Galatians 2:20
What Holiness Gives You in Return?
1.Prophetic clarity: The pure in heart see God (Matthew 5:8). Not those with big titles, crowds or even gifts
“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.” – (Matthew 5:8; Hebrews 12:14) and also hear Him (Revelation 2:7) The purer your life, the clearer your spiritual vision becomes:
Dreams become sharper; Revelations increase; Discernment becomes stronger; False teachings become obvious
Holiness helps you see what others miss. It’s a spiritual lens cleaner. It qualifies you for classified revelations
2.Power: It invites divine authority into your life. Holiness may cost you the world, but it will give you the Kingdom. You cannot walk in kingdom power without personal consecration.
“In a great house, there are not only vessels of gold and silver… If anyone cleanses himself… he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master.” – 2 Timothy 2:20–21
Do you want to cast out demons? Do you want to carry revival? Do you want to speak and heaven responds?
Holiness is the foundation.
3. Protection: God preserves those who walk uprightly. God assigns angelic help to holy vessels. For instance when Daniel lived set apart, angels warred for him (Daniel 10). When Peter walked holy, angels broke him out of prison (Acts 12).
4.Presence: Holiness attracts the presence of God like nothing else. It may cost you friends, but it gives you intimacy with the Holy Spirit. Remember that according to Romans 12:1, Malachi 1:11 God doesn’t anoint voices — He anoints vessels. When a holy life is behind your worship chains break, atmospheres shift, Glory falls and angels move.
5.Promotion: In due season, the Lord will raise you up. It may cost you quick fame, but you’ll gain eternal crowns.
No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.” – Psalm 84:11 Holiness moves you from begging to receiving. It aligns your life with divine promises that others only claim by mouth. For instance: God sends divine helpers (Proverbs 27:17) and not manipulators, users and devils agents, Open strange doors, elevate you above your peers and establish your legacy. Holiness makes heaven invest in your name.
How We Lost Holiness.
Sin opens legal doors. Holiness shuts them and fortifies your spirit. “Whoever breaks a hedge, a serpent will bite.” – Ecclesiastes 10:8. Many attacks come not because you’re in warfare — but because your walls are broken by
Secret lust, Bitterness, Rebellion, Greed, Gossip. Holiness rebuilds the walls and kicks the serpent out.
Holiness Trains You for Reigning
Before David ruled publicly, he lived holy privately. In the fields, in the caves, even in Saul’s palace — he refused revenge, sexual sin, and corruption. God does not invest deeply in dirty vessels. “He chose David… and found integrity in his heart.” – Psalm 78:70–72 Holiness is your training ground for royalty.
Holiness Purges You for Greater Use
“Every branch that bears fruit, He prunes…” – John 15:2
Holiness is not just a one-time choice — it’s a lifestyle of pruning.
God will:
- Correct you quickly
- Expose hidden flaws
- Refine your attitude
- Confront secret pride
The more holy you become, the more He fine-tunes you for glory. The final move of God will not come upon dirty vessels, political churches, or carnal performers.
In a time of deception, mixture, and seduction — holiness is not optional, it’s survival.
“Let him who is holy, be holy still.” – Revelation 22:11
It will take more than fire to endure the last days — it will take purity, discipline, and radical separation. Holiness is your last-day defence system.
Holiness Keeps You From Falling in the Last Lap
“Better is the end of a thing than its beginning.” – Ecclesiastes 7:8
“Let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall.” – 1 Corinthians 10:12
It is one thing to start strong. It is another to end holy.
- Samson started with fire — ended in blindness
- Solomon started in glory — ended in idolatry
- Demas started with Paul — ended in the world
Holiness is your insurance against finishing in shame.
Holiness Keeps You from Disqualifying Yourself
“Lest, after preaching to others, I myself should become disqualified.” – 1 Corinthians 9:27
You can:
- Be used mightily
- Preach with fire
- Prophesy accurately
- Lead thousands…
…and still be rejected at the gate if you fail to pursue holiness.
Holiness is the line between being anointed and being approved.
The enemy wants you to think:
- “It doesn’t take all that.”
- “You’re too intense.”
- “Everyone else is compromising — just relax.”
But holiness is not a burden — it’s a shield.
It’s not bondage — it’s your bridge to the King.
“Let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, we shall reap…” – Galatians 6:9
Holiness Protects You From Deception
“Because they did not receive the love of the truth, God gave them over to strong delusion.” – 2 Thessalonians 2:10–11
In these last days of seducing spirits, only the holy will:
- Discern lies wrapped in light
- Identify wolves in pulpits
- Recognize false fire
- Detect doctrines of demons
Holiness is your spiritual compass when the world loses direction.
Holiness Will Set You on Fire When Others Are Lukewarm
“Because you are lukewarm… I will spit you out of My mouth.” – Revelation 3:16
Holiness refuses:
- Passive Christianity
- Cold prayers
- Dead devotion
- Religious games
Holiness ignites:
- Zeal for righteousness
- Passion in worship
- Hunger in prayer
- Fire in your bones
You won’t need hype — you’ll be the flame.
