Kindness Can Connect You to A Miracle Easily Now

Listen to this article

Brethren I want you to ask yourself this question are you Kind or are you nice to people? Being kind is more than being polite to people. Kindness goes out of its way. A nice person can ask you, are you hungry? While a kind person will bring out food for you without you even having to ask you. Many people are nice, but they don’t get dirty. You don’t need a reason to help people. When your actions show evidence of a heart that truly cares people take notice. Now days you can be nice and not care. You can be nice to someone and still not like them.

Lets Practice Godly Kindness.

Usually people give a Rand just to say they gave and go on their way. We need to be willing to go the extra mile. Do we truly care? Does the pain of others really matter to us? When you show acts of kindness to the needy you are doing the same thing for Christ.

As believers many times we are nice, but not kind. Do people cherished that simple act of kindness. Acts 28:2 The islanders showed us unusual kindness. They built a fire and welcomed us all because it was raining and cold.

Most preachers today are nice. They say the right words, but they don’t really care. Their heart is not in it. They preach the sermon and go home and say, β€œI did my job.” Proverbs 26:25 They pretend to be kind, but don’t believe them. Their hearts are full of many evils.

The Spirit wants to do the things of God, but the flesh fights with it. The flesh says, β€œI have to go” or β€œI don’t have time.” The flesh wants to stop us from showing compassion. It starts to fear, it starts to make excuses, it gets lazy. When the flesh fights against the Spirit you get convicted. Matthew 26:41 β€œWatch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation.Β The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

As brothers and sisters in Christ, and we are to relate to each other as spiritual siblings. According to Romans 12:10   we should β€œBe kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another”.

We are to love one another and look out for each other. If one family member is in trouble, the whole family rallies around to help. We are to be kind to each other the way brothers and sisters in a loving family are. In short, we are to imitate Christ. Yes, we can’t help everyone, but everyone can help someone just like Jesus went around doing good-Acts 10:38

Wherever there is a human being, there is an opportunity for a kindness. Remember that no act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted. Kindness always makes a difference, not only for the person receiving the it but also for the one giving it.Β  Remember, when we show kindness to others, we are also showing kindness to ourselves because our acts of compassion resonate within us. Β That act of kindness may just give us the frame of mind to deal with our challenging situation.Β

The act of kindness may give us the energy we need to face our challenging situation head on.  The act of kindness may just put us in the path of others who may be able to provide assistance to us to overcome our challenging situation.

So, when a challenging situation has made us feel down and out, doing an act of kindness may help us feel better about ourselves which is the first step in moving us forward in the face of personal challenges

Since kindness has a ripple effect that has far-reaching results, we never know what may come full circle to help us.  In our most challenging times, if we can remind ourselves the our acts of kindness we have done before, we may just be in the right spirit we need to move beyond our challenge.

According to Galatians 6:9 β€œDon’t get tired of helping others. You will be rewarded when the time is right, if you don’t give up”. So remember wherever there are human beings, there are an many opportunities for showing kindness. For instance, after David became King of Israel, he asked, β€œIs there anyone still left of the house of Saul to whom I can show kindness for Jonathan’s sake?” (2 Samuel 9:1).  He had no relationship with Saul’s extended family, yet, because of his close friendship with Saul’s son Jonathan, he wanted to show brotherly kindness to Jonathan’s family. Mephibosheth became the recipient of David’s kindness.

Another case in point is when the church at Antioch helped the church in Jerusalem during a period of famine, they gave sacrificially to help relieve their brethren financial burden (Acts 11:27–30).  Churches in Macedonia and Achaia also contributed to the poor in Jerusalem. These were acts of brotherly kindness.

Never forget that β€œβ€¦Those who are kind benefit themselves…” Proverbs 11:17
