Introduction.
It is very wrong and painful to be a slave while your father owns it all. That is exactly what happened to the prodigal son (Luke 15:11-32). That is the case of many Christians today, they are like slaves walking for unbelievers and even so for next to nothing.
What Are Kingdom Riches?
Kingdom Riches refers to the spiritual wealth and blessings that believers inside the Kingdom of God receive as a reward for being faithful in worshipping God, that reward is often called Kingdom Riches. This concept is well explained in Matthew 6:33, which says, “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”
The word “wealth” is mentioned 89 times in the Bible. The Bible also talks about money, wealth, and possessions in more than 2,300 verses. Jesus spoke about money In roughly 15% of his preaching and 11 out of 39 parables.
2 Corinthians 8:9, ” You know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ; rich as he was, he made himself poor for your sake, in order to make you rich by means of his poverty. Jesus became poor so that you can become rich.” So how come you are still poor? So, we are supposed to be rich with all Kingdom Riches. We need to come out of poverty and the only way to do that is through our Lord Jesus as a bridge, Jesus can enable us to gain Kingdom Riches and to enjoy those Kingdom Riches.
Isaiah 45:3, I will give you the treasures of darkness and the riches hidden in secret places, so that you may know that I am the LORD, the God of Israel, who calls you by name.
If you haven’t received these Kingdom Riches, it means that you still don’t know your God. Because my bible says that those who know their God will do great exploits (Daniel 11:32). So now how come nothing seems to be happening in your life? No exploits whatsoever?
According to Luke 4:6 “I will give you all this power and all this wealth,” the Devil told him. “It has all been handed over to me, and I can give it to anyone I choose. So you can see that the devil has stolen much of what we should be owning, and he has kept it in secret places, and only people who belong to his kingdom and also are part of some form of a secret society are given these riches, which require certain rites, rituals and even special keys to access them.
The reason why we call them the treasures of darkness is because they are ours, but they are under the control of the dark kingdom. But they belong to God (Psalms 24:1 and Haggai 2:8) and the devil has stolen them and hidden them in his kingdom. No wonder when you start getting rich people always think that you have joined a secret society or a cult.
One thing is for sure and that is God says that he will give us these hidden riches (Kingdom Riches) not once or twice in the bible (Deuteronomy 8:18) while on the other side, the devil also says the same. But notice that in both cases they don’t require you to be educated, coming from a certain tribe, clan, or the like. All God or the devil requires you to do so as to qualify to receive these hidden riches or Kingdom Riches is worship.
Just like God can give you the power to heal the sick, Power to cast out demons then according to Deuteronomy 8:18 God can also give you the power to get rich with Kingdom Riches.
The Origin Of True Kingdom Riches
According to Revelation 21:21 (The twelve gates were twelve pearls; each gate was made from a single pearl. The street of the city was of pure gold, transparent as glass.), We see that the original source of this wealth or riches (Haggai 2:8 The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the Lord of hosts.) is heaven and not these so-called dark places (Isaiah 45:3), these riches have nothing to do with a location like Kuwait, Japan, USA, etc no no that is not the source of these riches these are just some of the locations where these riches have been stored by the devil after he stole them from us Christians.
You don’t need to go to USA, UK etc so as to become rich, God is everywhere and he is the one who gives us wealth
Yes, we know that the devil does give wealth also according to Luke 4:6-7 but that is not the wealth we are looking for. Just imagine people who worship the devil have money but not you. Why? And your God owns it all.
Instead, we want God to bless us and give us the power to get wealth and eat it (Deuteronomy 8:18). According to Proverbs 8:17-18, “I love those who love me, and those who seek me diligently will find me. I have riches and honor, as well as enduring (lasting, durable) wealth and righteousness.”
You should know that there is wealth that doesn’t last, it’s just seasonal for instance the riches and honor musicians, some businessmen get don’t last. Why because it’s not from the lord (Ecclesiastes 5:14).
According to Revelation 5:12 and they were saying in a loud voice, “The Lamb who was killed is worthy to receive power, riches(Kingdom Riches), wisdom, strength, honor, glory, and praise.”
We see that Jesus is the rightful owner of riches specifically Kingdom Riches and every other source is illegal. why do we say they are illegal? Because, “…anyone who does not enter the sheep pen by the gate, but climbs in by some other way, is a thief and a robber.” The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen to his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. (John 10:1,3)
Luke 16:8, “And the lord (Master, rich man) commended (praised) the unjust (unrighteous, dishonest) steward (manager) because he had done wisely: for the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light.”
They know how to use the laws of God’s kingdom to their advantage without necessarily joining God’s kingdom. For instance, we see in the book of Mark 9:38, John said to Jesus, “Teacher, we saw a man who was driving (casting) out demons (devils) by using the power and authority of your name, and we told him to stop because he doesn’t belong to our group.”
Another case we see is that of the seven sons of Sceva who wanted to use the name of Jesus who was being preached by Paul to drive out demons but failed (Acts 19:13).
So sometimes they use these kingdom laws right and other times not. Look at the motivational speakers they use and quote the bible all the time to justify what they are doing without necessarily belonging to the kingdom.
Deuteronomy 28:13 The LORD will make you the head, not the tail. If you pay attention to the commands of the LORD your God that I give you this day and carefully follow them, you will always be at the top, never at the bottom. That means you will not lose what you have instead it will keep on increasing day by day.
