What Is the Spirit of Regret?
The spirit of regret is a demonic spirit or oppressive force that takes advantage of a believer’s sorrow or past mistakes to create emotional bondage, mental torment, and spiritual paralysis. - Moral failures (e.g., adultery, backsliding, drug use)
- Wasted time or missed opportunities in your prime life.
- Sudden loss due to disobedience or bad counsel
- Betrayal, divorce, or financial ruin
It uses these moments to whisper lies that trap your soul in the “what if” realm.

Let’s Pray Against The Spirit Of Regret:
1.Heavenly Father, I thank You that I am forgiven, redeemed, and accepted as one of your beloved children. I bring before You every sin, failure, and decision I have regretted about. I lay them at the cross and receive Your mercy and healing, in Jesus name.
2.Heavenly Father, I come before You to renounce and reject every alliance, agreement, or invitation I have knowingly or unknowingly made with the spirit of regret. I break every soul tie and demonic link that keeps me bound to my past mistakes, in Jesus name.
3.O Lord Jesus, I surrender every soul tie as a resuit of past relationship that were created through ungodly intimacy, emotional dependency, or trauma that still haunts me. I renounce regret over who I loved, who I lost, and who I should have walked away from. I am no longer emotionally tied to the past. I release them, and I reclaim my soul.
4. In the mighty name of Jesus, I declare and decree that my past does not define me. I am redeemed by the blood of Jesus. My life is not a failure; it is a testimony in the making. What the enemy meant for evil, God is turning around for good. I receive divine restoration, divine favor, and divine acceleration.
5. Heavenly Father, I repent for punishing myself through guilt and self-hatred. I break every internal agreement I made to ‘pay for my mistake’ through suffering, as a result of making vow of pain, poverty, emotional isolation, and unworthiness tied to regret. I receive healing, not punishment, in Jesus name.
6.OLord Jesus, restore the identity the spirit of regret tried to steal. I am not a failure, I am not forgotten and I am not damaged goods. I reject every label regret has placed on me. I receive my true name, purpose, and assignment. I embrace the new thing You are doing in me.
7.In the mighty name of Jesus, I break every cycle of self-sabotage as a result of regret and condemnation. I cancel every pattern of defeat tied to my past. I reject every inner vow I made to never try again. I silence the voice that says ‘you will fail like last time.’ I declare I am not my past, I am God’s workmanship, created for good works.
8. Heavenly Father deliver me from the isolation caused by regret. Bring me out from where I have hidden from people, opportunities, or community because of my shame. I reject the lie that I am disqualified and from today I will rejoin the race of high fyliers in life, in Jesus name.
9. By the power in the word of God I command every familiar spirit attached to my past failures, addictions, or choices to fall down and die, I shut every door through which you gained access, am no longer a dwelling place for regret. I am a temple of the Holy Spirit, in Jesus name.

I bind every tormentor that magnifies my faults and shrinks God’s grace. I plead the blood of Jesus over my mind, memories, and emotions.
13.O Lord Jesus, I bring every painful family memory that I could not control before You, release me from every word unsaid, every act undone, and every moment lost. Heal my heart from childhood pain, generational guilt, and emotional neglect.

I regret every moment I stayed silent when I should have spoken, every lost soul I didn’t reach out to, every ministry opportunity I let pass. But I receive mercy and a fresh fire. I declare that I will serve with power, and my mantle is not canceled instead it’s being reignited, in Jesus name.
16.Let the blood of Jesus, wash the eyes of my spirit from spiritual blindness caused by sorrow and shame. Restore my ability to dream again. Show me visions of the future, not memories of the past. My vision shall be clear, sharp, and full of hope, in Jesus name.
17.O Lord, I lay before You every parenting decision I regret of every missed moment, every word spoken in anger, every failure to protect or nurture. I receive Your healing over my children and over myself. Restore what was lost. Rewrite our family story with mercy and grace, in Jesus name,
