“Have nothing to do with the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them.” (Ephesians 5:11).
What Do You Mean By The Spirit Of Unfruitful Relationships?
The spirit of unfruitful relationships can be highly manipulative, working with other spirits (like the spirit of delay, confusion, seduction, Jezebel, or spirit spouses). It attaches itself to people who have a calling, destiny, or marriage promise, and seeks to:
- Divert your attention from the right relationships. You keep meeting married or unavailable people.
- Tie you emotionally to people with no long-term fruit, causing you long-term delays in marriage, career, or calling. For instance you invest years in a relationship, but the person never commits in the end.
- Consume your spiritual energy, time, virtue and resources with unnecessary emotional warfare. This makes you feel spiritually weaker after spending time with certain friends or partners.
- Open doors to soul ties through sexual sin, control, abuse, manipulation, and even emotional dependency.
- Reinforce cycles: each new relationship looks different but ends the same way.
- You always end up mentoring or fixing broken people, and they leave once healed.
When someone says they are fighting the “spirit of unfruitful relationships,” they are likely praying against demonic assignments that bring wrong people into their life, seeking discernment, emotional healing, and God-ordained connections instead. We are called to break ties with anything unfruitful, especially ungodly influences and relationships.
Let’s Pray Against The Spirit of Unfruitful Relationships:
- Heavenly Father, I thank You for revealing the root of every unfruitful relationship in my life, in Jesus’ name.
2.Holy Ghost, fill every void left by toxic relationships with Your presence, love, and healing, in Jesus’ name.
3. Heavenly Father, let Your judgment fall upon every agent of darkness pretending to be a godly partner that is delaying or derailing my destiny, in Jesus name.
4. In the mighty name of Jesus, I break every covenant, agreement, and spiritual attachment to relationships that lead to heartbreak, stagnation, and confusion in my life.
5. Heavenly Father cleanse my soul from every defilement caused by past ungodly attachments, and wipe away every mark of failure and rejection from my life, in Jesus’ name.
6.Holy Ghost fire, burn to ashes every web of demonic entanglement in my relationships, in Jesus name.
7. Heavenly Father, Destroy every lie that I am unworthy of love and settle me in a fruitful, godly, and destiny-driven relationship, in Jesus’ name.
8.In the mighty name of Jesus I decree and declare that every spirit of disappointment at the edge of every meaningful relationship to burn to ashes.
9. In the mighty name of Jesus, I uproot every foundational curse working against lasting connection and marital fulfillment.
10.Let the Blood of Jesus, flush out every poison of toxic companionship from my soul, spirit, and body, in Jesus name.
11.O God of Elijah, scatter every demonic conspiracy to keep me in emotional dryness, oppression and confusion in my life, in Jesus’ name.
12.Heavenly Father Let your thunder destroy every altar of delay, disappointment, and rejection speaking into my relationships, , in Jesus’ name.
13. Heavenly Father, Let your fire consume every evil veil that is hiding me from godly partners and godly partnerships. O Lord, redirect my steps away from people who only appear right but are traps in disguise, in Jesus name.
14. Heavenly Father, reconnect me with every divine helper and destiny partner I have been separated from, in Jesus’ name.
15.Thank You, Lord, for releasing me into a new season of fruitful, joyful, and divinely aligned relationships.
