In times of great difficulty or grief, we can turn to God in prayers ask strength after all the bible in Isaiah 41:10 Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.
Always remember that praying for strength can include everything in your life, from physical strength for daily tasks to spiritual strength to overcome a habitual sin. Never forget that the bible says in the book of Isaiah 40:30-31, “Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not be faint.”.
In times of difficulty, asking God for strength serves as a reminder that He is available and willing to assist you. Because He cares for you, you can put your cares on Him (1 Peter 5:7).
Let us Pray For Spiritual Strength:
1. Heavenly Father, I put on Your full armor—the helmet of salvation, breastplate of righteousness, belt of truth, shield of faith, sword of the Spirit, and the shoes of peace. grant me the endurance to keep fighting the good fight of faith and protect me from all attacks, keeping me strong and steadfast in You, in Jesus name.
2. O Lord, cover me with Your protection against every form of evil. Guard me from harm, and let no weapon formed against me prosper, in Jesus name.
3. O Lord, I ask for Your strength to fill me today. Lift my spirit, and help me not to grow weary in doing good, for I know that in due season, I will reap if I don’t give up, in Jesus name.
4. Heavenly Father, I ask for physical strength and spiritual stamina to keep going when times are tough. Strengthen my body, mind, and soul to withstand trials, in Jesus’ name
5. O Lord, help me stand firm on Your promises, even when they are yet unseen. Let my faith remain strong and unwavering. Help me press on without giving up in Jesus name.
6. Heavenly Father, I dedicate myself to Your plan. Guide me as I surrender my own desires, trusting that Your way is perfect, in Jesus name.
7. O Lord, I release all my burdens into Your hands. Help me trust that You will carry them and sustain me, in Jesus name.
8. O Lord, give me the courage to stand alone if I must. Help me stay faithful to You, regardless of who stands with me in Jesus name.
9. O Lord, rekindle my passion and drive for the things You’ve called me to. Let me be motivated to continue on with joy, in Jesus name.
10. O Lord, fill me with Your peace, a peace that goes beyond what I can understand. Let it guard my heart and mind from thoughts and feelings that lead me away from You, in Jesus name.
11. Heavenly Father, grant me discernment to know what battles are worth fighting. Help me recognize when it’s time to press on and when to rest in You, in Jesus name.
12. O Lord, in moments of weakness, let Your strength carry me. Teach me to lean on You when I feel unable to carry on, in Jesus name.
13. Heavenly Father, break every chain and stronghold over my life. Free me from anything that hinders my spiritual progress, in Jesus name.
14. Let the power in the blood of Jesus, help me resist speaking or thinking negatively about myself. Let my words and thoughts build me up and align with Your truth.
15. O Lord, grant me discernment to recognize the enemy’s strategies. Let Your Spirit guide me in every spiritual battle, in Jesus name.
16. O Lord, let me find my strength in Your presence. Remind me that You are always with me, even in the toughest moments, in Jesus name.
17. Father, let Your light illuminate my path and direct my steps according to Your purpose for my life. Let Your Spirit guide me in truth and love. When I am in darkness, lead me out and show me the way forward.
18. Heavenly Father, I rebuke the spirit of discouragement trying to hold me back. Fill me with faith and courage to continue onward, in Jesus name.
19. Heavenly Father, surround me with people and reminders that encourage me to keep going. Let me feel Your support every day, in Jesus name.
20. O Lord, I cast out self-doubt in Jesus’ name. Remind me of who I am in You, fearfully and wonderfully made.
21. Almighty God, strengthen my spirit to persevere in prayer and worship. Let me seek You continuously, finding joy in Your presence, in Jesus name.
22. Heavenly Father, I surrender my will to Yours. Take control of my life and lead me along paths of peace and righteousness, in Jesus name.
23. O Lord, renew my strength when I feel weary. Help me to mount up on wings like eagles, to run without growing tired, in Jesus name.
24. Heavenly Father, give me determination to fulfil the purpose You have set before me. Strengthen me with Your power to keep going, in Jesus name.
25. O Lord, grant me courage in the face of adversity. Let Your strength empower me to keep moving forward, even when I feel like giving up, in Jesus name.
