Who Is An Unfriendly Friend?
According to Proverbs 27:6, “Friends mean well, even when they hurt you. But when an enemy puts his arm around your shoulder–watch out!” So, you see that an unfriend friend is a person who pretends to be your good friend but in actually sense is your enemy. Such a person may say good things about you in your presence but when you are not there, he or she will say bad things about you. This person might say one thing and do another thing. For instance, this person may say peace unto you with their mouth whereas behind the scenes the same person is planning to do an evil thing to you in their heart.
These people could be described as green snakes under the green grass, who say sorry openly but fire evil arrows privately. They can camouflage no matter how long in order to deceive or convince you to do what you did not intend. (1 Corinthians: 15:33). They might even eat at your table, receive your money, gifts, clothing and promotions, and then raise their heel against you. At times they fight from the privileges gotten through you. (Psalm: 41:9).
In most cases the reason why many good friends turn to be unfriendly is because of insecurity, fear of the unknown as well a sense of inferiority complex driven by greed, envy and jealousy. As a result, they might end up taking advantage of their friends which might expose their friends to unexpected risks. As a good person if you chose to hang around them it might affect the way people view.
The book of Proverbs 18:24, reminds us that “There are “friends” who destroy each other, but a real friend sticks closer than a brother.” If you are not careful around them, they might try to blackmail that if you don’t do according to their binding that they will expose your topmost secrets to your immediate community.
Luke 21:16, “You will be betrayed even by parents, brothers and sisters, relatives and friends, and they will put some of you to death.” We see that unfriendly friends are as old as the bible itself because as we see that there are a number of cases in the bible. We see that Cain killed Abel his brother out of jealousy and envy (Genesis 4:8). Jesus Christ had Judas as his secret enemy while Job also had his own secret enemies. Nowadays even church leaders like pastors are trying to bring down their colleagues through false accusation as a result of envy and jealousy.
So, you see, unfriendly friends are real enemies of your life that you must watch out for and if possible, stay far away from them, don’t even try to entertain their evil ways by setting your standards very high that they tend to struggle to reach. My prayer is that after using the prayers here, Holy Ghost fire will chase away all your unfriendly friends in the name of Jesus.
Let us Pray
1.In the mighty name of Jesus, I decree and declare your judgment upon every hidden unfriendly friend hiding around my household, marital life, business, and career, O Lord, let your hammer scatter them in Jesus, amen.
2. Let the Blood of Jesus wash me clean and even separate me from all unprofitable friends, and let it release my prosperity from the hands of unfriendly friends, in Jesus name.
3. In the mighty name of Jesus, I command total destruction of every known and even unknown covenants and soul ties formed with unfriendly friends that are working against my life, in Jesus.
4. My Father! My Father! Send your warring angels to go to the land of the living as well as the dead and recover back everything that was stolen from me by unprofitable friends in Jesus name.
5. Let the spirit of God convict and force these unfriendly friends in my life, to make mistakes that will expose and disgrace them, in Jesus name.
6. My Father! My Father! Send your hornets after the order of Exodus 23:28, to go and chase away every unfriendly friend in my life, in Jesus name.
7. O Lord deliver me from each and every trap set to catch me and my family by these evil friends and let them fall their own traps in Jesus name.
8. In the mighty name of Jesus Let every problem that has been transferred into my life through demonic friends lose its hold now, in Jesus name.
9. Let the power in the blood of Jesus dissolve every satanic deposit that has entered my body through the hand of an evil friend, in Jesus name.
10. Let every yoke of unfriendly friends upon my life, be broken by the anointing, in Jesus name.
11.My Father! My Father! Send your angels to go and scatter every evil gathering of evil friend that are trying to arrange reinforcements and satanic counterattack, in Jesus name.
12. My Redeemer, open my eyes of discernment to be able discern at first glance every unfriendly friend and the grace to act accordingly, in Jesus name.
13. Every property taken from me by evil friends that is on any evil altar, I separate myself from you and command you to catch fire, in Jesus name.
14.By the power in the mighty name of Jesus I take authority over all curses pronounced against my life by unfriendly friends and I command them to break now.
15. Let every problem that has been transferred into (name any area of your life such as career, business, health, marriage or finances) through demonic friends lose its hold now, in Jesus name.
16. Let every evil finger of the unfriendly friend pointed at me so as to destroy my destiny catch fire, in Jesus name.
17. Holy Ghost, connect me to Godly friends, and disconnect me from unfriendly friends, in Jesus name.
18. O Lord shut down all the evil doors that have been opened to harm me and my family by unfriendly friends, in Jesus name.
19. My Father! My Father! Send your seraphim angels to go and burn to ashes each and every satanic altar holding my pictures as well as my clothing materials, in Jesus name.
20. Holy Spirit, wipe out from the memory of my enemies of every information that I have shared with them that they are now using against me, in Jesus name.
21. Let every unfriendly friend trying to meet with evil prophets and witches to hinder my progress, be arrested by the Holy spirit, in Jesus name.
22. Let every demonic as well as satanic attack as a result of friendships I’ve had, be aborted in Jesus name.
23. In the mighty name of Jesus, I command every activity of backbiters, betrayers and traitors that is keeping my destiny backward to be destroy.
24. O Lord, fill my heart with love and compassion and help me to show kindness to all, even to those who are unfriendly, and to be a light in their lives, in Jesus name.
25. O Lord, give me the strength to distance myself from unfriendly friends and help me to stand firm in my values and not be swayed by their negative influence, in Jesus name.
26. O Lord, heal my every wound caused by unfriendly friends and restore my trust in others and help me to build healthy, supportive relationships, in Jesus name.
27. O Lord, give me the courage to confront unfriendly friends if necessary. and help me to speak the truth with love and grace, in Jesus name.
28. O Lord, protect me and my family from any harm that unfriendly friends may cause. Keep me safe and secure in your love, in Jesus name.
29. O Lord, surround me with positive and supportive friends. Help me to build relationships that are based on mutual respect and love, in Jesus name.
30. O Lord, teach me to set healthy boundaries with unfriendly friends and also help me to protect my emotional and mental well-being, in Jesus name.
