Dangers Of Prayerlessness.

In the Book of Matthew 26:41, the Bible reminds us to “Watch and pray, that you do not enter into temptation. For the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.” How can you expect to grow without praying regularly?

Brethren, keep in mind that prayerlessness leads to powerlessness. No wonder you see that many modern-day Christians seem like they are praying a lot but with little to no results to show. This was the case with the Pharisees in the Book of Matthew 6:7: “You do not have, because you do not ask” (James 4:2).

If I may ask, how good is your prayer life? How many times a day do you pray quality prayers? Do you feel like you are communicating with heaven, or are you not sure? Prayer brings you to the only One who can fully satisfy your heart: “And call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me” (Psalms 50:15).

Without a doubt, we are commanded to pray. Jesus told His disciples to pray and not give up on prayerlessness (Luke 18:1-8). Paul commanded us to “pray continually” (1 Thessalonians 5:17) so that we can become prayer giants. Peter wrote that we are to be self-controlled so that we can pray (1 Peter 4:7).

James commanded us to pray for each other (James 5:16). If failing to do something we are commanded to do is sin, then prayerlessness is surely a major sin for believers. The prophet Samuel viewed prayerlessness as a sin: “As for me, far be it from me that I sin against God by failing to pray for you” (1 Samuel 12:23)This meant that he was against prayerlessness.

Let us pray

1. By the power in the name of Jesus I confess, I renounce and denounce any soul ties and anything in my life that would distract my mind from my prayer assignments. I bind all financial, emotional, physical, mental, spiritual, carnal, associational, and professional distractions against my private time with God today, in Jesus Name.

2. O Lord cancel every connection between me and any spiritual being obstructing my connection with you in Jesus’ Name.

3. O Lord uproot every demonic and satanic sacrifice obstructing my prayer life. I break every dark covenant that has been set against the call of God on my life in the spiritual realm. I am liberated from every unholy thing and sin that would creep into the corridors of my prayer and spiritual life, in Jesus Name.

4. My Father! My Father! arise and destroy every man or woman working against my spiritual life in Jesus Name

5. My Father! My Father! Send your warring angels to the marine Kingdom to go and destroy every marine spirit working against my prayer life in Jesus Name.

6. Every demonic sacrificial animal working against my prayer life begins to work for my spiritual life in Jesus Name.

7. By the power of the Holy Ghost I command every crippling spirit working against my prayer life to be destroyed in Jesus Name.

8. By the power in the name of Jesus I shut down every demonic door that has been opened to hinder my prayer life in Jesus Name.

9. My Father! My Father! please, revive my prayer life and fill me with the spirit of supplication. O Lord let whatever I decree in prayer be established instantly in Jesus Name.

10. My Father! My Father! empower me to pray and fight, to resist and terminate Satan’s operations in my life, family and Your church in Jesus Name.

11. I command in the name of Jesus for the spirit of prayerlessness to lose me now, and let Anointing to pray like Elijah fall on me in Jesus name.

12. By the power of the Holy Ghost I refuse to sleep when I should pray, hence every evil arrow fired against my prayer life, I fire you back in Jesus name.

13. By the power of the Holy Ghost I command every altar of darkness working against my prayer life, catch fire in Jesus name.

14. By the power of the Holy Ghost I bind up and rebuke every spirit of weariness, tiredness, carnal thinking, time-wasting, slack attitude, and prayerlessness, that may have been injected into my life by the evil forces of darkness! I declare that they will not have any dominion over me from this day forth, in Jesus name.

15.From this moment forward Father, I want to yield and submit my prayer life to your Holy Spirit, move in my life Lord, I ask you to take over, please change me, revive me, lead me and guide me in what you want me to pray for, for it is not my will but thine, in Jesus name.
