“If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?” — Psalm 11:3
Introduction
According to Lamentations 5:7 an evil foundation may refer to repeated problems that seem to run through generations, such as chronic family conflicts, addictions, immorality, violence and even occult involvement. These might be as a result of the ancestor’s involvement in secret societies, witchcraft, idol worship, occult practices and even blood covenants.
Due to our evil foundation, many Christians are running a race they never started, fighting battles they never intended, and worse off paying for debts they never incurred themselves. Remember according to Matthew 7:16 when the root is bad the fruit is also bad. The same thing applies when the foundation is evil or corrupted then we get bad results which come with heavy prices to pay in life.
Brethren have you ever taken a closer look at what your ancestors(lineage) did for a living, how they worshipped, their marriage patterns and many other things like this?
No wonder many Christians have tried to be faithful and true to the calling but because of their evil foundations they have failed. Look at the case of Gideon in the Bible in Judges 6:25 it shows that he came from an evil foundation.
Brethren you should also remember that person’s own past may create a poor foundation for instance your own occult involvement, sexual immorality, habitual sins, dishonesty, bitterness, rebellion against God and even unforgiveness
According to Psalm 11:3 ask yourself this question When the foundations are being destroyed, what can the righteous (you and me) do expect to pray?”
Just as a building stands on a foundation, a person’s life stands on foundations that can be either godly or ungodly. A foundation is the unseen root that supports the visible life. The foundation affects character, decisions, relationships, spiritual growth and even future generations. Many people try to fix the fruit while ignoring the root. Did you know that if a tree continually produces bitter fruit, the problem is not the fruit—it is the root.
Example Of Evil Foundation In The Bible.
The Bible records families where certain sins repeated throughout generations. For instance, in Abraham’s Family, Abraham lied about Sarah then we see that Isaac repeated the same lie and as a result Jacob practiced deception. The case is very similar in David’s Family because after David’s sin Amnon committed sexual sin. then also Absalom committed murder and rebellion as a result, and we see that it led to Adonijah rebelling. Here we see that the pattern shows how sin can influence generations if not addressed.
7 Things Which Show That Signs Of Evil Foundation.
People may associate an evil foundation with:
- Repeated failure despite effort
- Repeated business collapse
- Recurring destructive family patterns like divorce, delayed marriage
- Persistent spiritual oppression leading to prayerlessness.
- Constant setbacks and losses
- Difficulty maintaining breakthroughs
- Self-sabotage and extreme rejection
Warfare Prayers Against Evil Foundation
1.Heavenly Father, I come before You and repent of my sins and the sins of my ancestors. Let the power in the blood of Jesus cleanse me from every iniquity connected to my bloodline.
2. Heavenly Father, I renounce every evil covenant of affliction, poverty, premature death, and bondage, made knowingly or unknowingly by my ancestors, in Jesus name.
3 Heavenly Father, release a mighty earthquake upon every evil foundation that speaks against my family, my business, my health, and even my destiny, in Jesus’ name.
4. Let every evil foundation supporting household wickedness, from my father’s house or mother’s house fighting my progress, be exposed and defeated, in Jesus name.
5. Let every evil foundation that is built through idolatry, witchcraft, and occult practices that leads to failure at the edge of breakthrough, be destroyed by the power in the blood of Jesus.
6. After the order of Gideon in Judges 6:25 let every spiritual shrine, covens, idol worshippers of my father’s and mother’s house, servicing these foundations be destroyed in Jesus’ name.
7. Heavenly Father uproot every evil mountain that stands before me from its foundations, Let the foundations that stand against my life be shaken, and let the doors and gates therein be opened in Jesus’ name.
8. Heavenly Father, deliver me from every generational pattern that is not from You that leads to inherited battle, in Jesus name.
9. I command every evil foundational spirit assigned to monitor my life from my foundation, be bound and cast out, in Jesus’ name.
10. Heavenly Father, let your resurrection power come upon my evil foundation and bring forth every dead thing to life, in the name of Jesus.
11. Heavenly Father, destroy every evil foundational curse, placed on me and my family in the areas of marriage, finances, career and every other important area, in Jesus’ name.
12. Let every evil foundation of sickness and infirmity, marital delay and disappointments, be destroyed in Jesus’ name.
13.Heavenly Father Let every evil foundational covenant or bondage in my life, be destroyed by the power of the holy ghost
in Jesus’ name.
14.By the precious blood of Jesus, I silence every evil voice against my life coming from wicked foundations in my father’s or mother’s house, in Jesus’ name.
15.I command every deep-seated evil foundation in my life and family, to be uprooted and destroyed by fire in Jesus’ name.
16.O Lord you said whatsoever we bind on earth is bound and what’s over is loosed, I pray for total deliverance from evil foundations affecting my life, family, and even my job during this year in Jesus’ name.
17.O Lord let every influence of hell over my life as a result of bad foundational agreement, be destroyed by the hammer of God, in Jesus’ name.
