Ways Witchcraft Destroys People In The Church Easily

Brethren, many “modern day “Christians believe that you can still be a Christian and practice witchcraft even consult witchdoctors, which is false. No wonder nowadays there is witchcraft in the church and so-called men of God are allowing this to happen. This leaves many believers confused and trapped or rejected by both worlds. 

AVOID WITCRAFT AT ALL COST

The Bible warns us about mixing of witchcraft and Christianity throughout the Scripture. Remember witchcraft and all its many forms, such as fortune-telling and consulting the dead, are Satan’s counterfeits to holy spirituality. At the heart of witchcraft is the desire to know the future and control events that are not ours to control. Those abilities belong only to the Lord. This desire has its roots in Satan’s first temptation to Eve”You can be like God'(Genesis 3:5).

Since the Garden of Eden, Satan’s major focus has been to divert human hearts away from worship of the true God(Genesis 3:1. He entices humans with the suggestions of power, riches, and material things cars,houses etc apart from submission to the Lord God.In order to achieve this empty promises from the devil most “believers” turn to the occult, turn to magic, turn to all kinds of practices that are beneath our dignity in an attempt to fill that vacuum, a vacuum that only God can fulfill in a satisfactory way.

Just imagine when a “believer” releases word curses, prays against another believer, and conduct unholy fasts to destroy another believer, surely the fruit of the Spirit is clearly lacking, You can’t stop someone from placing a curse, but as a Christian, if you are you praying to God and going to him, the curse will have no power(proverb 25:2). The Bible expressly condemns all these forms of witchcraft.

God and Satan are the only sources of spiritual power. Satan has only the power that God allows him to have, but it is considerable(Job 1:12,Revelation 20:2,2 cor.4:4).To seek spirituality, knowledge, or power apart from God is idolatry, closely related to witchcraft.1 Samuel 15:23 says, “For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft…”

Witchcraft is Satan’s“harmless” realm(Reading Horoscopes throwing bones,throwing bones. Eastern meditation rituals, and some video and role-playing games), and he excels in counterfeiting what God does. When Moses performed miracles before Pharaoh, the magicians did the same things through demonic power(Exosus 8:7)

Isaiah 8:19 says, “When someone tells you to consult mediums and spiritists, who whisper and mutter, should not a people inquire of their God? Why consult the dead on behalf of the living?”According to this scripture Why seek any power apart from the source of all real power? Why seek spirits who are not the Holy Spirit?” Witchcraft and its many counterparts promise spirituality but lead only to emptiness and death (Micah 5:12; Galatians 5:19–21). Only Jesus has the words of life(John 6:68)

God takes the sin of witchcraft very seriously and the penalty for practicing witchcraft under the Mosaic Law was death (Exodus 22:18; Leviticus 20:27). 1 Chronicles 10:13 tells us that “Saul died because he did not keep the word of the LORD and even consulted a medium for guidance.

Witchcraft is from the devil and anyone who practices it will not enter into Heaven. Revelation 22:15 includes witches in a list of those who will not inherit eternal life: “Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood. It is an abomination to God! When you get involved with any form of witchcraft you open yourself up to demons and demonic influences which can indeed harm you and those close to you.

Since early times, people have sought supernatural experiences God did not endorse. The nations that surrounded the Promised Land were saturated with such practices, and God had stern words for His people concerning any involvement with them. Deuteronomy 18:9–12 says, “When you enter the land the Lord your God is giving you, do not learn to imitate the detestable ways of the nations there. Let no one be found among you who sacrifices their son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead. Anyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord.”

If you know anyone who is involved in witchcraft or consult witchdoctors try to help them to save their life, but if they refuse your help, stay away from that person.

We don’t need to fear Satan’s power, but we should respect it and stay away from it. 1 John 4:4 says, “Greater is He who is in you, than he who is in the world.” Satan can create Job like problems, harm, and destruction, even in the lives of believers (1 Thessalonians 2:18; Job 1:12–18; 1 Corinthians 5:5). However, if we belong to the Lord Jesus Christ, there is no power that can ultimately defeat us (Isaiah 54:17).

We are overcomers (1 John 5:4) as we “put on the whole armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes” (Ephesians 6:11). When we give our lives to Christ, But first we must repent. This repentance should include renouncing any involvement with witchcraft, following the example of the early believers in Acts 19:19.So Throw away all occultic items! In your possession.
