Introduction.
We can see that dreams (especially warning dreams) play an important role in all cultures and religions across the world. This is to show you that dreams are very important today. As Christians, we see that in the Old and New Testaments of the Bible, dreams are mentioned in numerous verses as a valid means of communication between God and various individuals. Dreams are found in stories, prophecies, and accounts involving notable figures like Joseph, Jacob, Daniel, and others. So, we see that, according to Numbers 12:6, God speaks to true prophets through dreams. So, has God spoken to you through a dream to warn you of something or to direct you on what to do regarding a certain thing?
What Is A Dream?
A dream is an indicator of your spiritual well-being. A dream is like a guarantee that you are given in the spirit that something will come to pass, although everything else speaks to the contrary. It’s just like a spiritual title deed for a house or a spiritual logbook for a car, Yes, you haven’t received this car or house, but it’s settled in the dream, and it’s just a matter of time and formality.

Types of Dreams, including Warning Dreams
In the Old Testament alone, the word dream is mentioned 101 times, while in the New Testament, it’s mentioned nine times. So, you can see that dreams are very important, and God wants us to understand them and even learn how to interpret them, especially warning dreams. According to the Bible, there are many types of dreams, but we will only address three primary types of dreams: Predictive dreams, Warning dreams, and Revelatory dreams
1. Predictive dreams provide information about upcoming events or happenings. For instance, Joseph’s dreams of his brothers and parents bowing down to him (Genesis 37:5–10).
2. Warning dreams alert us to potential danger ahead of us and can be a warning from God to prepare for such difficulties. In the New Testament, The Magi are warned in a dream not to return to Herod. (Matthew 2:12), The Magi received warning dreams, and so too did Joseph in the New Testament receive warning dreams.
3. Revelatory dreams serve as direct messages from God that are meant to give us insight into his plans and desires for our lives. For example, Joseph in the Old Testament received dreams that contained divine revelations about the future (Genesis 37)
So, you can see that a person who dreams can’t just die like that because God will warn him or her through a dream (Amos 3:6). You will notice that the kind of dreams that we dream of today are quite different from the dreams that were dreamed in the olden days. Nowadays, we see that most dreams are erratic or useless (Ecclesiastes 5:7). The reason for this is that they don’t come from God, but from the devil. The dreams we read of in the Bible were leading to something worthwhile; we don’t see dreams of people eating or doing meaningless things like being visited by spirit husbands or wives.
What Causes Many People To Dream Useless Dreams, As We See Today?
Not all dreams that people have are classified as useless or meaningless. So then, what causes dreams to be classified as useless, These could range from spiritual to emotional reasons.
Emotional dreams are a result of the following reasons:
Stress and Anxiety: High levels of stress, anxiety, or unresolved issues can lead to unusual or disturbing dreams.
Medication and Substance Use: Certain medications, drugs, or alcohol can influence the content of dreams.
Processing Daily Experiences: “Useless” dreams may simply be the mind’s way of sorting through the events, thoughts, and emotions of the day.
Spiritual dreams are a result of the following reasons:
When we sleep at night, our spirit doesn’t sleep; hence, the witches know this, and hence, they have to do something.
Evil Projected Dreams: These are dreams that are projected from the dark kingdom with the purpose of harming you. Through these dreams, most people have been sent to disease and other calamities.
Camouflage dreams: These are dreams that the dark kingdom uses to distort or interfere with your clear communication with God. They might make you dream that you are running after a person while, behind the scenes, they are either stealing or stealing your actual dream, which God has sent you. They might also change their human form and take the form of an animal or a spirit so that you won’t recognize them especially when they want to harm you or your business.
For instance, a witch might turn in the dream into a snake that comes to you and bites you, so when you wake up in the morning, you find that there is a mark at the place where the snake bit you, and from that day forward, if no spiritual intervention is done, this might lead to death or loss of a limb.
Some other people might tell you that when they were dreaming at night, they saw a snake come and enter them through their nose, and from that day onwards, they felt something moving in their body like a snake, and as it moved, they felt so much pain.
So, if you are not spiritually alert, then witches who might be relatives, false prophets, enemies, etc. might take any form, so that you might.
How Come A Dreamer Can’t Die?
If you stop dreaming, then you start dying. No one can kill you except yourself through your negative talk (Proverbs 18:21). We see that from the beginning of time, words were not a means of communication but a means of creation. So, heaven is waiting for you to create with your words.
A good case in point is when David cursed Joab and his family for killing Abner. We see that David cursed every generation with a man who has open sores or leprosy, walks on crutches, dies by the sword, or begs for food! (2 Samuel 3:27–29).
According to Genesis 45:4–8, Joseph in the Bible was a dreamer and couldn’t die by any means, not at the hands of his family or by any means necessary. He couldn’t die because he was a dreamer, and he had a dream.
Sometimes there are great things God has kept for us, and even he has communicated them to us beforehand, as in the case of Joseph, whereby we see in the Book of Genesis 37:9–11 that Joseph dreamt that the sun, moon, and eleven stars were bowing down to him, it symbolized that at one time Joseph would be so great and his family would have to respect him for that.
Yes, others might not believe in your dreams (mainly your warning dreams ) but always remember that God doesn’t start something that he won’t finish (Philippians 1:6).
Reasons Why Christians Give Up Their Dreams
- They lose belief in themselves.
- They refuse to pivot and adjust
- They would rather settle for short-term rewards.
- They don’t have a guaranteed path to success.
- It’s better to be misunderstood for living your truth, than to be entirely understood for living a lie.
- They decide that people won’t understand their dream and give up.
- They surround themselves with people who are negative influences.
- They fear being judged by those they care about for failing.
- They give others the power to influence their decisions.
- They don’t learn how to discipline themselves.
- They only see the failure, not the lesson.
- They fail once and never try again.
Remember to always be on the lookout for Warning dreams. When you are closer to God, he will give you warning dreams, These dreams will come in the form of open visions and sometimes in the form of normal dreams. Warning dreams should not be ignored, especially if you have dreamt them several times. To ignore warning dreams is like playing with fire in the spiritual world, Everyone who followed warning dreams was saved from pending disaster. For instance, in the Book of Acts 16:9–15, Paul was warned that he should not go to certain places through dreams, which saved his life. So we should always take note of warning dreams, as they might mean life or death.

Sorry to hear that, but always know that God is your constant help in times of need (Psalms 46:1), so fear not for God is with you (Isaiah 46:10). Nothing catches God by surprise; in short, God is aware of what you are going through and help in on the way that is why we are communicating with you at this moment. This is the will of the Lord.
