Last year I was facing some problems in some courses I was doing. This problem stemmed from when I jokingly told a friend at the beginning of the semester that I wanted to experience what it was like to fail because I had never failed before. Believing it to be just a joke, I continued. Little did I know that I would begin to fail test after test in that course throughout the year, barely passing any. When it came to the exams, I was regretting, and I prayed to God, saying, “I don’t want to fail anymore.”. Thankfully, when I received my results, I passed, and to my relief, as I progressed on to 3rd year, I realized that words have power, and I could have failed if it were not of God. Therefore, I only warn that we should be careful of our words, for life and death are in the power of the tongue.
