2 Corinthians 4:8–9, “We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.”
Holding on when everything is falling apart is not pretending everything is okay—it’s refusing to let go of your faith despite what you see or feel. it’s saying in your heart that God is still in control, even if I don’t understand. Yes, you may not have answers, direction, or clarity but you still trust the Lord. What feels like collapse is often divine rearrangement. remember that the same God who carried you before will carry you again. You’re still here—that means God is not finished.
According to 1 Corinthians 10:13, “The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure.” So, when everything around you is breaking, let your faith be the one thing that refuses to. Sometimes God allows the shaking so you can discover what cannot be shaken inside you. So, don’t quit in the middle of your miracle because of a temporary storm.
Life may hit you with losses, delays, rejections and even spiritual battles but you still keep on:
- Praying (even if it’s just a few words)
- Reading the Word (even if it’s one verse)
- Worshiping (even when you don’t feel like it)
In short, holding on is continuing connection, not perfection. Remember that storms don’t last forever. So, hold on—this is not the end. Holding on doesn’t mean you’re strong—it means you’ve decided not to let go of God. The enemy fights hardest when your breakthrough is closest—hold on through prayers since heaven is still working on your case.
Let’s Pray To Continue Holding On:
1.Heavenly Father, when I feel pressed on every side by the weight of life, strengthen my inner man. Let Your power sustain me beyond my limits, in Jesus’ name.
2.By the power in the name of Jesus, I command every attack that comes when I am weak in the spirit to backfire! I receive divine covering and protection. So, no weapon formed against me shall prosper.
3.Heavenly Father, when everything inside me says quit, give me the grace to hold on. I receive supernatural endurance from You today, in Jesus’ name.
4. Heavenly Father, send Your warring angels to expose and destroy every hidden force fighting my progress, I will not be defeated by battles I cannot see, in Jesus’ name.
5. In the mighty name of Jesus, I rebuke every sudden wave of discouragement to drain my strength. I receive renewed courage right now.
6. O Lord Jesus, even in this broken season, restore what is falling apart. Turn my pain into purpose and my struggle into strength.
7. Let every evil plan of the enemy to cause sudden failure in my life, scatter! I will not fall apart instead I will stand by the power of the Holy Ghost.
8. In the mighty name of Jesus, I refuse to be stuck in this condition (mention your condition). Let every delay that is causing frustration in my life, be broken right now!
9. Let every cycle of rising and falling, break right now! I step into stability and progress, in Jesus’ name.
10. Heavenly Father, Where I cannot fix things, intervene supernaturally and turn this situation (mention your situation) around for my good, in Jesus’ name.
11. O Lord Jesus, even if I must stand alone, strengthen me. I will not compromise or fall. I will stand firm in Your truth.
12. Heavenly Father, send help Your angels to support me in this difficult season, in Jesus’ name.
13. Heavenly Father, when I don’t know what to do, guide me. I receive Your clear direction right now, in Jesus’ name.
14. Let every mistake caused by pressure and confusion, be corrected! I will not destroy my destiny in a moment of weakness. in Jesus’ name.
15. Heavenly Father, reinforce every weak area in my life. Strengthen my foundations so that I will not be shaken by the evil one, in Jesus’ name.
