God’s Kingdom: Incredible Facts You Need To Know Now

Listen to this article

Introduction

I want to tell you that the reason you are suffering the way you are suffering now is because of the wrong doctrines and belief systems that you received over time. Most of the time what is preached in the church on Sunday is totally different from what is done throughout the week (Matthew 23:1-4). It’s not the true good news of God’s Kingdom which was preached by Jesus and his disciples.

Did you know that the devil has no problem with you attending false churches and even hearing certain messages without any truth (Galatians 1:8-9) but when it comes to the message of the Kingdom of God, he hates it and that is why he tries, by all means, to steal it from your heart, if he can’t stop you from hearing it (Matthew 13:19). The reason the devil hates this message of the Kingdom is that inside it is everything you will ever need and want.

We see that in the Book of Matthew 9:35 that where the good news of the Kingdom is preached there is healing of every disease and every affliction as a form of confirmation that God is there doing all these and much more (Mark 16:20)

What Is A Kingdom?

Gods Kingdom 1

The word “kingdom” appears numerous times throughout the Bible. We see that even Daniel talked about a kingdom in the book of Daniel 2:44. It appears 358 times in the King James Version Bible.

The Greek term for ‘kingdom’ is used 162 times in the New Testament, with most of them referring to the Kingdom of God, the Kingdom of Heaven, earthly kingdoms, and other related terms.

In the beginning, there was only one Kingdom of Heaven (Matthew 7:21) which was only based in Heaven and was ruled by God as the King (Matthew 26:29), until the devil wanted to take over that Kingdom from God (Isaiah 14:12-14). Then we see that when the devil couldn’t succeed to overthrow God, then God threw him out of heaven to earth (Revelation 12:7–12). When the devil couldn’t take God’s kingdom in heaven, he chose to steal God’s Kingdom which God had given to Adam here on earth (Genesis 1:26-28; Psalm 8:5-6).

God had made Adam a king here on earth, while on the other hand, God was the overall King that is the King of Kings. That is why God used to come and check on Adam at the cool of the day (Genesis 3:8). Adam was a king over all things of which included disease, infirmities, etc. We see that Adam was rich in all things, and never got sick or lacked anything. After Adam and Eve sinned, they were thrown out of God’s Kingdom and they lost all those privileges they had in the Garden of Eden.

After they were thrown out of the Garden of Eden then a curse followed them (Genesis 3:16-19) which also follows us, but know that God send Jesus to come and return to us that Kingdom, which was stolen by the devil in the Garden of Eden i.e., the Kingdom of God

Remember this Kingdom, Adam had in the Garden was not just in words but also in demonstration of power (1 Corinthians 2:4-5). So that is why Jesus did so many miracles to show us how the Kingdom operates.

God’s Kingdom is a real part of God’s heavenly Kingdom ( Matthew 26:29) here on earth. It operates here on earth by God demarcating certain places here on earth with pillars of fire or even clouds as in the days of Moses in the wilderness (Exodus 13:21-22) or as in the days of Elisha where he was surrounded by chariots of fire which were, armies of heaven (2 Kings 6:17).

So, are you a citizen of this Kingdom of God here on earth? I don’t mean that you belong to a certain church or are under a certain man of God. Did you know that you might be seeing so many miracles happening in your life but still you are not in God’s Kingdom (Matthew 24:24)? You might be financially doing well but still you are not in God’s Kingdom. The devil can give you anything to keep you in his Kingdom. For instance, the devil wanted Jesus to join his Kingdom and then he will give him all the kingdoms and their glory (Matthew 4:8-10).

As we see in Matthew 19:23-24, we start with the Kingdom of God here on earth and then we eventually enter the Kingdom of Heaven as our final resting place after we have been faithful with the matters of the Kingdom of God.

Where Is God’s Kingdom?

God’s Kingdom

The kingdom of God is wherever God reigns, and since He reigns everywhere, the kingdom of God is everywhere.

The kingdom of God is not a geographical realm with clearly defined boundaries, such as those that separate two countries

The Kingdom of God Is Not a Physical Place… So What Is It? Many people think of God’s Kingdom as heaven or as the church. The kingdom is not a place, but a power. the kingdom of God is a spiritual one—Jesus said His kingdom was not of this world (John 18:36)

But the Bible says that it is here, so seek it out.

“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” (Matthew 6:10,33)

We start seeking for it here on earth, Matthew 6:33: “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”

Jesus came and taught us how to seek this kingdom while still on earth, “Your kingdom come. Your will be done. On earth as it is in heaven” (Matthew 6:10).

As we see in Matthew 19:23-24, we start with God’s Kingdom here on earth and then we eventually enter the Kingdom of Heaven as our final resting place after we have been faithful with the matters of the Kingdom of God.

According to 2 Corinthians 12:2-4, many people have the view simply because Paul was caught up in the third heaven then, this means there are only 3 heavens in fact there are other heavens and other restricted areas like mansions which Jesus said he has going to prepare for us.

We see that according to Luke 17:20-21, One day the Pharisees asked Jesus, “When will the Kingdom of God come?” Jesus replied, “The Kingdom of God can’t be detected by visible signs (something observable or you can see), You won’t be able to say, ‘Here it is!’ or ‘It’s over there!’ For the Kingdom of God is already among you (is within you or is here with you).”

If you knew that the Kingdom is within you then you would think and act differently. But because you don’t know that is why you ask and act like these Pharisees who were questioning Jesus.

Now after John was arrested, Jesus came into Galilee, proclaiming the gospel of God, and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.” (Mark 1:14-15 and Matthew 3:2)

When Will God’s Kingdom Come On Earth?

According to Luke 4:43, Jesus was telling the Pharisees that his main mission on earth was to bring the good news of the kingdom of God to the people of the earth. That is why we read in Luke 17:21 that Jesus’ presence in their midst gave them a taste of the kingdom life, as supported by the miracles that he performed according to Luke 11:20 which says, “If I drive out demons by the finger of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you”. Jesus was inaugurating the kingdom as He was changing the hearts of men, one at a time (Matthew 3:2).

He was telling the people to change their mindset, direction, and their way of doing things and viewing things. Simply because the Kingdom of God had come, and they couldn’t receive it with their old limiting mindset (Luke 5:36-39). As for the Pharisees, they were not willing to change at all and accept the kingdom’s way of doing things.

The Pharisees believed that we were supposed to suffer here on earth and then when we died, we would enjoy ourselves in heaven. A good example is Lazarus the one who suffered here on Earth and then died and was taken to heaven according to the parable in Luke 16:14-31. Which is still the view of many people who are suffering on Earth today.

Jesus was saying to them in Matthew 4:17 that they should accept that God’s Kingdom has already come and if they accept it and change their mindsets then they themselves were to see great changes in their lives and after that then they should go out there and preach the same good news of the Kingdom to others for free (Matthew 10:7-8).

According to Matthew 11:11, we see that no one who is outside the Kingdom of God is greater in any way than us inside the Kingdom. Yes, we might suffer here and there but we still overcome in Jesus’ name (Matthew 11:12). But remember that where there is the good news of the Kingdom being preached then there is the power to heal, deliver and bring riches (Matthew 4:23).

In short, you enter God’s Kingdom and all problems (joblessness, debts, sicknesses, and bondages) are taken away by the power of God in the Kingdom. There is cleansing and healing power in God’s Kingdom (Isaiah 1:18). Remember in God’s Kingdom all things are possible (Luke 1:37) it just depends on how close you are to the throne of grace. That is why Jesus is inviting us after we enter the Kingdom to make sure we come to the throne where great things are happening.
