Psalm 148:3 moon is a living thing which can do things like a living thing and that is why according to Psalm 121:6, “The sun shall not smite me by day, nor the moon by night.” It can be used by witches to smite you through arrows that fly by night (Psalms 91:5-7). Hence as a result Lord teach my hands to war and my fingers to fight. (Psalms 144:1-2 ).
According to Gen 1:2-5,14-18 Darkness here is equated with “the power of Satan”. All the verses you list make this point very well. The moon is said to “rule over the night” and darkness. Act 26:18 Satan is directly linked with darkness throughout the Word of God.
So there are wicked things done in the darkness. There is a ruler of this darkness that was created by God. That is why I think in Genesis we see that God appointed a lesser light, the moon, (which bears no light but masquerades as a messenger of light) to rule the night. Gen1:17-18
But notice that the moon is not called darkness. Rather it is called “the lesser light to rule the night”. The sun is the greater light that rules the day, and together they are “two great lights… the stars also”. Above all we need to remember who it is that creates both the light and the darkness (Isa 45:6-7). the moon rules over all who are under it,
You have heard people talk of new moon or full moon This lunar phase (full moon) is all about new beginnings. Many people believe that as the moon grows in size, it increases its intensity and power.
We see that in the olden days Selene is the Greek goddess of the moon while Diana is the goddess to romans and so was to each country the had a name for the goddess associated with the moon, they worshipped her to give them power to do evil
When spells, jinx, curses are casted into the moon, the element respond to it to look for the appropriate person to attack where you are there is moon and it can locate you and deliver its power
The main tool for their operation is astral projection. They projected their powers into the moon to influence the lifestyle of people. A witch doctor takes the advantage of the moon to operate at night. He issues evil decree into it. That’s why you see some people today having all kinds of nightmares. This demonic agent carryout this movement to obstruct and plant problems into the lives of their victims.
In addition, the moon can be programmed by the wicked as an altar against a person. It can also serve as brass against ones prayers. That is why you hear the witching hour (Definitions vary, and include the hour immediately after midnight and the time between 3:00 am and 4:00 am.)
Hence many people become mad and its because so many evil works are done at this time.
According to Joshua 10:12-14 When Joshua wanted to wage war he had to first stop the moon and its evil effect because he knew that there are some people who draw power to do things and even fight from the moon according to Deut 4:19 The moon has it’s own mysterious power.
However, God further assists Joshua by calling up a powerful storm to bombard the Canaanites with rain and hailstones. Remember that the moon controls the tides and it can use them to affect the water in your body
Let’s Prayers Against The Moon’s Evil Power
Pray these prayers if possible at midnigh for maximum impact and propheticallyPoint your right hand to the moon to let it know that you are addressing it (Psalm 148:3)
1. Heavenly Father, I come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Your Word declares that You created the sun, the moon, and the stars to give light to the earth (Genesis 1:16-18). Therefore, I declare that the moon shall not work against me, my family, or my destiny, in Jesus name.
2.I cancel every evil decree, curse, or manipulation programmed against me through the moon. I decree according to Psalm 121:6, “The sun shall not smite me by day, nor the moon by night.” Every satanic covenant, spell, or enchantment tied to lunar cycles is broken by the blood of Jesus! in Jesus name.
3. O Lord, let every monitoring spirit using the moon against me be struck down. Let Your consuming fire destroy every satanic altar, divination, or witchcraft using the moon as a gateway to attack my life. I plead the blood of Jesus over my spirit, soul, and body.in Jesus name.
4.I declare that I am hidden under the shadow of the Almighty (Psalm 91). No weapon formed against me shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and every tongue that rises against me in judgment I condemn! I receive total deliverance and freedom, in Jesus’ name.
5. Almighty God, I take authority over every satanic ordinance linked to the moon that seeks to control times and seasons against my destiny. I decree and declare that my life is ruled only by the will of God and not by any astrological manipulation, in Jesus name.
5. In the mighty name of Jesus, I break every cycle of misfortune, stagnation, delay, and affliction programmed through moon phases. Let every wicked agenda tied to the new moon, full moon, or eclipse be nullified by the power of Jesus Christ. Lord, release Your fire to consume every demonic altar using lunar influences against me.
6. By the power in the Blood of Jesus, I renounce and break free from any generational covenants that have bound my bloodline to negative lunar patterns. Father, let Your light shine upon me, and let every darkness be dispelled. I receive divine alignment with Your heavenly purpose.
7. Heavenly Father, as I pray this midnight, I stand in spiritual warfare against any occult powers, witches, and sorcerers who manipulate the moon to monitor and afflict me, in Jesus name.
8. I send back every evil arrow projected at me through moon sacrifices. I decree that every enchantment done under the moonlight against me be destroyed by Holy Ghost fire! in Jesus name.
9. After the order of Isaiah 47:13-14, let every sorcerer, astrologer, and stargazer consulting the moon against me be frustrated! Lord, arise and scatter every wicked gathering in the heavens planning my downfall. Let Your angels wage war in the heavenly places on my behalf,in Jesus name.
10. I soak myself in the blood of Jesus, and I walk in divine victory. My destiny shall shine, and no power of darkness shall stop me. I declare my total freedom, in Jesus’ name.
11. Heavenly Father, I declare Psalm 91 over my life:
I dwell in the secret place of the Most High, and I abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I declare that no harm shall come near me, no evil shall befall me, and no plague shall come near my dwelling. Every satanic surveillance using the moon is blinded, every evil plan is exposed and destroyed. I stand in the covenant of the blood of Jesus, which speaks better things over me. The moon shall not work against me but for my good. Thank You, Lord, for my total deliverance, in Jesus’ name.
12. Heavenly Father, I stand on the promises of Psalm 91 and declare that I shall dwell under the shadow of the Almighty, and no evil shall befall me. I break every night attack programmed against me through the moon. Every spiritual arrow released against me at night shall return to the sender,in Jesus name.
13. In the migthy name of Jesus, I command every satanic gathering under the full moon to be scattered by thunder and fire!

18. According to Colossians 2:14-15, Jesus wiped out the handwriting of ordinances that were against us, nailing them to the cross. Therefore, every demonic handwriting programmed against me through the moon, be erased now!
19. I stand on the promises of the Word of God and declare that Isaiah 8:9-10 is my portion and so I nullify every moon-related affliction, backwardness, and delay, and I decree that my life shall align with divine favor and breakthrough, in Jesus’ mighty name!
20. O God of Elijah, arise and scatter every demonic meeting held under the moon against my life! and let every evil altar of darkness raised against me in the celestial realm, catch fire,in Jesus name.
21. By the authority in the word of God found in Luke 10:19, I trample upon serpents and scorpions, and no power of the enemy shall harm me. Every monitoring spirit using the moon as a mirror to track my life, be blinded by fire, in Jesus name.
22. By the power in the word of God I stand and declare Job 5:12 over my life which says “He disappointeth the devices of the crafty so that their hands cannot perform their enterprise.” Therefore, let every evil hand stretched against me through moon related powers shall wither, in Jesus name.
23. In the mighty name of Jesus, I decree and declare that every spiritual sniper targeting my destiny under the full moon, be destroyed! I call forth my blessings, breakthroughs, and promotions to manifest, in the name of Jesus.
24. Almighty God, I repent for any involvement of my ancestors in making pacts with the moon, sun, and the stars. Let any bloodline covenant that has placed my family under satanic cycles be broken now by the blood of Jesus!
25. By the power in the Blood of Jesus, I renounce and revoke every evil dedication of my ancestors to moon related deities now! and I cut off every demonic chain linking my life to negative moon influences in Jesus name.
26. O Lord, Your Word in the book of Galatians 3:13 says that Christ has redeemed me from the curse of the law. Therefore, I declare my deliverance from every form of moon related bondages and I break free from repeated failures, untimely deaths, sicknesses, and misfortunes connected to the moon cycle, I walk in victory, divine favor, and abundant life, in Jesus’ mighty name!
27. Heavenly Father, I take authority over every witchcraft, divination, and sorcery assigned to manipulate my life through the moon. Let every evil pronouncement, incantation, or curse uttered against me under the moonlight be broken and reversed by the power in the blood of Jesus!
28. O Lord, Your Word says in Deuteronomy 18:10-12 that sorcery and divination are an abomination to You. Therefore, I declare and decree that every sorcerer and diviner consulting the moon to track my destiny shall be put to shame! and I command that their evil works to be destroyed by fire, in Jesus name.
29. Every demonic calendar programmed against me using lunar cycles, I set it on fire! My times and seasons are in Your hands, O Lord. No evil power shall alter my destiny. I cover my life with the precious blood of Jesus, and I declare that no evil shall befall me, in Jesus’ name!
30. Heavenly Father, I thank You because You are the Creator of the heavens and the earth. Your Word declares in Genesis 1:16 that You made the greater light to rule the day and the lesser light (the moon) to rule the night. Therefore, I take dominion over the moon, and I decree that it shall work for my good, not for my destruction, in Jesus name.
31. I stand on the promises of Psalm 8:3-6, which says that You have given me dominion over the works of Your hands. Therefore, I cancel every evil manipulation of the moon against my life, my family, and my destiny, in Jesus name.
32. From this moment moving forward, I decree and declare that the moon shall not smite me by night and the forces of darkness shall not use the moon against me. because my times and seasons are secured in the hands of God and no moon related power shall have control over my life,in Jesus name.
33. In the mighty name of Jesus, I decree and declare divine alignment with the will of God, and I command my blessings to manifest speedily this year.
