Dry Season: 20 Proven Prayers To Overcome It Now

Listen to this article

What Is a Dry Season?

“I will send you rain in its season, and the ground will yield its crops and the trees their fruit.” Leviticus 26:4

It is not uncommon to go through life without experiencing some sort of obstacle; this is sometimes referred to as your “dry season.” The difficulties might come from a variety of sources, such as problems with your spouse, profession, finances, or spirituality. Then, the extent and duration test a person’s patience, perseverance, and faith.

Always remember that in life, there is a dry season and a rainy season. The dry season is a period when the heavens are closed and there is no rain. This leads to drought and dryness, shortages, locust and grasshopper activities, starvation, and possibly death. Both physical and spiritual dry seasons are unpleasant experiences of life.

What Are The Main Causes Of The Dry Season?

Sin is not always the reason why you are feeling a sense of spiritual dryness. The main cause of that feeling of spiritual dryness may be impatience, which involves running ahead of God into projects and ventures, bad management and wastage, debt accumulation, laziness, troublesome foundations, and interference with the power of darkness.

Beloved, if you are passing through a dry season experience today, whatever the case, faith and prayer can restore your sense of power and fire with God again. Let us pray.
