The New Year: 17 Proven Prayers To Welcome It Well.

Listen to this article

Introduction.

When we think about a new year all manner of thoughts come to our minds both good and bad. But it’s a good practice to ignore the past and let it be because we can’t change it, but we can only learn from it. So let bygones be bygones and let’s move on. We will never understand everything in this world why a plan failed or you lost a friend but remember in the Book of Proverbs 16:4, “The LORD has made everything for his own purposes,..” And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.” Roman 8:28.

One of the beautiful things about a new year is that it offers new hope. People often think of it as a fresh start. Isn’t that what new year’s resolutions are about anyway? However, like any new year or any new day for that matter, no one knows (except God of course) what it will hold. So, invite God in this new year to lead you and guide you and you will never regret it.

Brethren remember that Midnight is the time when “doors” are spiritually shut against people in the realm of the spirit. These “doors” might be invisible to the carnal eye, but they do exist, after all, if there is a physical world then there is a spiritual world according to 1 Corinthians 15:44

It is also a time when satanic cries are made against people by the evil powers operating along the bloodlines of their families. They shut doors of opportunities and open doors of misfortune, so do something now before it’s too late.

Brethren read Psalm 24:7-10 with the understanding that these are real gates:

“Lift up your head, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.

Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.

Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors, and the King of glory shall come in.

Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory.”
