What Do You Mean By Spirit Of Heaviness?
Spirit of heaviness is a spiritual condition or oppression characterized by deep sadness, discouragement, despair, depression, grief, or a feeling of spiritual weight that burdens a person emotionally, mentally, and even spiritually.
Spirit of heaviness is a demonic influence that tries to creates a:
- Persistent feeling of sadness and even emotional fatigue.
- Lack of desire to pray, worship, and even read the Bible.
- Feeling of isolation and abandonment which make some to feel disconnected from God
- Hopelessness, even when circumstances seem okay triggering suicidal thoughts due to a strong sense of despair.
- Loss of motivation, interest, or energy
Let’s Pray Against the Spirit of Heaviness:
1.Heavenly Father, I thank You for the oil of joy that breaks the power of sorrow and heaviness in my life, in Jesus’ name.
2. In the mighty name of Jesus, I cancel every demonic prophecy, word curse, or evil decree that feeds sorrow into my spirit.
3. Heavenly Father, silence the enemy’s voice in my soul and amplify the sound of Your love, peace, and hope. O Lord, make me a fountain of joy to others, and let sorrow have no place in me, in Jesus’ name.
4. By the power in the name of Jesus, I command every spirit assigned to suppress my worship and praise to be destroyed. I release divine joy and praise into my home, my heart, and my environment now.
5. Holy Ghost let your fire consume every spirit of heaviness, depression, and sorrow assigned to weigh me down, in Jesus’ name.
6. In the mighty name of Jesus, I decree and declare that every demonic visitation that comes at night to spiritual exchange my joy for heaviness, to be reversed by fire of God.
7.By the power in the name of Jesus, I silence every voice of discouragement and hopelessness, today I arise to the joy of the Lord.
8. Heavenly Father, let Your resurrection power quicken every dead and weary part of my soul due to the attack by the spirit of self-pity and emotional torment, in Jesus’ name.
9. Heavenly Father arise and deliver every demonic force assigned to steal my peace and joy, and make sure they lock me in emotional prison of grief and sadness, in Jesus’ name.
10. I break all generational curses of heaviness, soul ties and covenants that connect me to a life of emotional bondage, in Jesus’ name.
11. Holy Spirit, breathe fresh life, hope, and joy into every area of my soul that has grown weary and broken, in Jesus’ name.
12. Holy Spirit, fill every vacuum in my soul with Your peace, joy, and love, let every evil power that is feeding heaviness into my life through dreams, visions, and people be consumed by fire, in Jesus’ name.
13. By the power of the spirit of God, I prophesy into my life that I shall not mourn endlessly; and from now moving forward my season of dancing has come.
14. O Lord Jesus, baptize me with the oil of gladness above my fellows, and let it overflow into every area of my life.
15. In the mighty name of Jesus, I reject every evil spiritual burden placed upon my heart; let the joy of the Lord overflow in my heart and drown every heaviness.
16.Let the power of the blood of Jesus, flush out every root of sadness, sorrow, depression, weariness, grief, and inner heaviness from my spirit, in Jesus name.
17.O God of Elijah, destroy by your fire every altar where the spirit of heaviness is being serviced against me, in Jesus’ name.
18. Let every curse of endless crying and silent sorrow upon my life, be broken by the blood of Jesus.
19.In the mighty name of Jesus, I reject every evil label of mental and emotional bondage placed upon me by my enemy. Let every satanic veil covering my joy be torn away now
20. By the authority in Jesus’ name I revoke every legal right the spirit of heaviness is using to access my life.
21. In the mighty name of Jesus, I command every garment of sorrow placed on me in the spirit realm, to catch fire and burn to ashes
22.Heavenly Father, uproot every tree of bitterness and sadness planted in my heart, and let it’s fruits catch fire and burn to ashes in Jesus’ name.
23.Let divine energy flood my body, soul, and spirit, replacing all weakness and sorrow, my season of heaviness is over, in Jesus’ name.
24.Spirit of heaviness hiding in the shadows of my soul, I expose you by the light of God—come out by fire, in Jesus’ name.
25. Let every door opened to heaviness through trauma or heartbreak, be sealed by the blood of Jesus. Let every satanic chain tying me to past pain, break now, in Jesus’ name.
